hi Guys just booked a silver Tiguan....Car seemed very nice and spacious and very high tech....

Hi all

The advertised $149.9k is comfortline I suppose.

For this version, other than active info display and led, what else is missing?

Also can share the deal you get for Highline? Thanks :)

I think there are no interior ambient lights, dynaudio sound system, electronic and memory driver seat and a few others. 17" wheels instead of 18".

May I ask how much you pay for the Highline? Comfort is how much cheaper?

Congrats BTW [thumbsup]

I pay $160,000.00 for 1.4 TSI Highline.

Great, we both booked the same color. So, any tentative delivery date given from your SA?

Hi Everyone,

I have been driving the new 1.4 Tiguan for a month now.

I would like to share my feedback for this model for anyone whom is interested.

- Spacious interior car as compare to previous model

- Boot is between Q3 and Q5 size, need to lower the back seat for golf bag

- Kids love the moon roof

- Engine pickup is decent for a 1.4T, plenty of torque, going up car park and steep slope no issue with full load

- Full consumption not fantastic for 80% city driving (ave 10.6 km/l), Sale person claimed it should be better after run in

- There is a S gear which you can change to if you want to drag your gears longer

- 6 Speed DGS is a wet clutch system which is better than the previous dry clutch. Hopefully it can last longer

- Personally, I like the Dynaudio system, park assist, Active Info Display, Head Up Display, cruise control, LED lights, Maps,

Overall, it is a good and comfortable family car.

This Highline model comes with lots of extra features which you may not need.

I chose this model over the Harrier in the end.

With all the additional features, it is still much cheaper than getting a X3 or Q3 if you are not badge conscious.

Thxs

Hi All,

Just book my 1.4 highline tiguan today. Delivery date now at early September. Love at first sight I must say. Trade in my 5 year old tiguan for a new tiguan. Great deal with discounts at S$160k + 1k accessories voucher because I've been a loyal customer.

Looking forward to my new ride

Now they slash the discount price from 3k to 1.5k. Dont think you can get a good discount now as the car is selling so well.

$160k for the Tiguan 1.4? Isn't that ard the same price as the Q3 1.4?

I think the Tiguan is bigger and more luxurious than the Q3...hence not same category.  Tiguan is very well equipped and IMO should be compared with Q5/X3 range....
