This year i tried Tam Kah Mooncakes.

Tried both Snowskin and baked versions and I find them both to be above average and

especially the MAO SHAN WANG DURIAN SNOWSKIN mooncake the taste was strong and fragrant!!

 

Anyone haven't tried their mooncakes should give it a go.

Bought them online and went to collect. very simple and fast hehe having them now :)

Just ate the baked mother of pearl mooncake from raffles hotel. It is yummy n not so sweet. I also always get their champagne truffle snowskin.

 

Also walked past expo yesterday. Seem like there's an autumn festival exhibition going on in one of the halls with lanterns, bouncing castle and a lot of mooncake stalls

Chose :

8 minis in 4 flavourings

 

Choc inside put 1 Ferraro rocher

Matcha plus a few red bean

Seasame plus a pc white choc

Gui Hua plus a zest of lemon

All in snow skin

Nice croc print box with a few coasters (cost of these included in price)

Still nice,but ask me pay for it I won't buy.

Five-jen moon cake is one of the traditional pastries Han, one belongs to the Cantonese-style moon cake, the most famous in all kinds of Mid-Autumn. Anyone like this type of mooncake, some says very nice.

My fav moon cake, love the packaging (in tin n can re-used), color is very nice n best of all, the fragrance n taste is heavenly, yummy!

 

Also bought the pearl mooncake (single yolk) n lotus with macadamia (double yolk) but havent try yet

 

 

This makes the mao san wang from goodwood park very pale in comparison n i also found it a little too sweet, packaging is not so good, think the magnet doesnt work very well in fridge, so the box doesnt close tight
