GLS door handle, side mirror are painted?

Checked K3 L yesterday. The door handle, side mirror, front grill are black color. Don't look nice.

Steel rim is ok. Can change to alloy rim easily.

Thanks bro. Will check it out this weekend.

You can change these things easily... and add all these aftermarket... can buy the original parts online or even from Komoco and get it fixed in third party workshops... can try Tong Lee Wee at Alexandra... they specialize in Hyundai cars...

Mine was Christabelle. You can look for one of the senior SE name Susie.. she handled most of our recent purchases from MD elantra (old version) to the new AD ones.

hahaha OK- cool...

Let me know if you cant find it or if you need any other information.

Hope to catch you and your Elantra when we have our usual meet-up and gathering ya..  [thumbsup]

Thanks!

You took half an hour to decide on car colour?  :o  So what colour have you choose?

mine worse, i took half an hour to decide on the colour (gray, due to fengshui), then sign on the dotted line

and then just about to step out of the showroom, saw the beige and suddenly wanted to change my mind

took another day to consider (and ask my master) and finally change to beige...  [smash]  [smash]  [smash]

Does anyone driving new elantra find that the suspension are soft? As in going over the hump or uneven road very bumpy.

i find it too firm.. ie: abit too hard over bumps

but i've sat in a fren's tucson and also the same feel, so i guess it's characteric of hyundai cars

just like hondas are overly firm and toyotas are overly soft

mercs are overly firm and volvos are just nice

i would say hyundai is somewhere in between honda and toyota and i quite like it

my fav is still volvo.. everything just nice.

Though once you have signed on the dotted line, if you want to change colour, you need to pay a penalty?

Driven 5k+ now, feels everything not bad. FC able to reach 12-13km/l. Start off rpm will reach 3k . Think its still reasonable, not too fierce.

mine ok leh.. that night i already told my SE i might change my mind

she say no prob, just let her know within 2-3 days in case the car colour is sold out (my car is ex stock, they were clearing 2016 batch)

next day i told her change to beige, she just fax me amended invoice and i scan back

that's it

mine also about 5k+, registered in april 17. also super like the a/c seats and BSD. cc is useful for me because i cruise alot at night.

my start off rpm also 3k usually, and fc also between 12-13km/l... haha, looks like our habits very similar

but on a good night with highway no traffic, i did get the daily average of 16.8km/l last night.

hill start assist only come in when at a full stop.. dun tink it affects upslope acceleration

i usually just tap the gear shift right, to upshift one gear during acceleration.

Wah... same bro. April 17 too.

Your SE so good, allow you to change without any penalty. Lol.

Neutral Newbie

Hi bros, just to check. My Elantra was purchased in early 2016. Just the norm type. Not the higher end series. My recent average FC is around 9.8km per liter.

It seems very bad, compared to previous car which is a Vios. Even comparing to other cars, the FC still seems bad.

Thus, want to ask ard whether is it only my Fc's issue or is it normal for such a low rate.

Appreciate all replies! Thanks.

This depends on your driving habits, more of expressway or more of city driving. Vios is a very light car, pedal step a bit will go already. New Elantra is heavier. Toyota cars are usually more FC efficient. Also check your tyre pressure and control your right foot.
