I'm not too particular with designs but the back of the new elantra looks kind of sweet. If the current model is cheap enough then i'll take the current model.

My current ride is a nissan latio. Is it an upgrade in terms of the drive and space?

Current model is 'cheap' compare to those buy few month earlier due lower coe and clearance price.

In Singapore u never know when is cheap as at time new car is cheaper than old car..

I can't advise if it a upgrade compare to latio as never drive before but in term of space and spec should be better. M

Need other bro to help advise on this..

U should go take a look and test drive the elantra to compare and have a feel yourself. That the best

Used to have latio... The space in latio is definely much more than most 1600cc cars u can find in market now.

I used to drive Sylphy (which is similar to Latio) & I really miss the space especially back passenger seats/leg space & boot. FC is a bit better. But it’s also bcoz my Sylphy 1.5 engine is under powered for its body so I tend to step much harder.

Are you enjoying your elantra now?

Maybe because latio design is quite boxy lo, thats why car is quite spacious.

I think Nissans make comfortable cars, from latio to syphillis to teana (If I din get my Elantra, I would have probably end up getting a pre owned teana)

Only issue is the gearbox.

Ermm.. the Elantra has generous amounts of space for its class though. Also, the elegant Elantra curves is way more aerodynamic which makes the drive more stable than boxy sylphy.. I can easily list more pros but you get the point.

Think now the biggest pro of the Elantra is the price

Been driving it almost a month. Of coz there r some complaints here & there but nothing is perfect.

For the price now IMO is one of the more value for money car.

It’s not an Apple to Apple comparison versus sylphy/latio as the build, form, factor r very different.

The best is still to test drive & decide urself :)

I get what u mean. Not saying it’s a bad car.

There r pros & cons for every make & model.

As long as u r comfortable with the ride it’s a good car for u :)

Given that the AD HU is Carplay and Android Auto ready, anyone tried placing a mobile router in the car?

Was thinking can do a side project that allows wifi in car for remote camera access and also passenger use.
