7hm Turbocharged September 7, 2015 Share September 7, 2015 (edited) The USA is just about completely... er, well, they have legislation against adaptive headlights. Right now adaptive features besides levelling is mostly banned in the USA. This has been the case for years and the industry has been lobbying over there to allow the technology. They're not banned here or in the rest of the world. Having experienced them personally, they are great technology. Volvobrick Supersonic September 7, 2015 Share September 7, 2015 From about 40's/50's till 80's, only the round or square seal headlights were allowed! Imagine every car (which ever model/brand) had the same headlights.....
Nine_eleven 2nd Gear September 8, 2015 Share September 8, 2015 looks like not only SG got archaic laws that goes against modern technology... USA also has a ban against brake fluid that isn't yellow.... so the fantastic ATE Super Blue can't be used there. haha.
ins1dious Turbocharged September 8, 2015 Share September 8, 2015 A 2013 video showing that an archaic 1968 rule basically bans all of the newer lighting technology and which from the video, we hear that all the major car manufacturers including homegrown GM etc are campaigning against... and its a classic click-bait title... "Audi lights banned"
