Tanglin post office parking

Parked in the building with the Tanglin Post office in it for approximately 10 minutes.Came back and the carpark cash card

 

reader kept saying that my cashcard was invalid and would not let me exit.I pressed the intercom and an ancient old man turned up,kept asking me to put in another cash card and refused to open the barrier.He said that he would get his supervisor to come over but that would take 1 hour! I lost my temper and yelled a bit and he said that he would call

 

the police ( ? ) .I thought that it was stupid to wait an hour with the moron and gave him $3 ( he gave me a receipt ) and

 

he then opened the barrier.

 

1. Pissed off because he kept implying that I had used a different cash card to enter . couldn't he have checked on the entry machine ?

2. It was the machine that was at fault - he could have just opened the barrier !

forgive and forget because the old man is just trying to make a living and I don't think it benefits him if he continues to keep you there. no point losing temper also since such technical malfunctions are not his fault so no point getting stressed for that either.

for $3 discount ? he just seemed very inflexible .

forgive and forget because the old man is just trying to make a living and I don't think it benefits him if he continues to keep you there. no point losing temper also since such technical malfunctions are not his fault so no point getting stressed for that either.

Sometimes the money will have to come out of their own pocket if they let you out without paying. An auntie did that to me before also. I was stuck cuz the card reader just cannot read my card. She just don't want to let me out until her supervisor come to approve. After that I asked if I can just pay the carpark fee to her and she let me out. She agreed. Then she told me if not they will deduct from her pay.

Called but nobody bother to pick up and in the end, had to self lift to get out.

Kept calling the sacurity the number on the machine but he wouldnt come over to help. I asked him to come down to check the machin but he said he is alone because his colleage went for lunch( itis 11 am only!!). and so many things to do as a sacurity. He eventuaaly came to the car park after told him I would go to the office. Gave him $5! Spent 40min to get out of there.

 

Where should I report this situation(not a few dollars problm)? Otherwise It happens to anybody again soon.

really painful when you know that it is not your fault . was it the old old man ? I tried to google for a management address to feedback but was not successful.never parking there again.tanglin mall is convenient parking.

Parking a lot cheaper there? Tanglin Mall looks reasonable for a carpark in the Orchard area. $2.40/hour, $3.50 per entry after 6pm Mon-Fri, 1pm Sat and whole day Sun. Also sheltered parking.
