Mkl22 Supersonic March 4, 2017 Share March 4, 2017 It's a French Corolla. The Megane II built after 2009 were rock solid in terms of reliability. Many people don't believe. I buy the warranty from you, can? Meaning if spoil you provide a car for me to use and you settle the repairs. Sure to earn one! ↡ Advertisement
6912 1st Gear March 8, 2017 Share March 8, 2017 (edited) Checked the website of Renault Singapore, it hasn't indicate anything on the petrol model. Wearnes might not have launched the 1.2 turbo petrol version publicly yet but it is probably ready for sale. It appears in the dropdown menu in the Fuel Cost Calculator which likely means the model has been homologated. I think they are preparing for when the new VES kicks in in 2018 and their existing diesel models just won't cut it. Even the 1.2 turbo petrol versions of the Clio, Mégane Hatch GT Line and Kadjar all appear in the dropdown list (i.e. homologated and ready for sale). Kasiao 1st Gear March 9, 2017 Share March 9, 2017 Renault is having a private event tomorrow night. Super huge discount will be expected for diesel car. I think still worth to buy diesel if the discount is huge.
Victor68 Turbocharged March 9, 2017 Share March 9, 2017 The Megane sedan is now available in 1.2TCe petrol version in Singapore. It is fitted with the Efficient Dual Clutch transmission. Where did you get this info? All diesel and from my understanding, same engine.

Stratovarius Turbocharged March 9, 2017 Share March 9, 2017 The gt looks very nice and competively priced comparing to the gti. A more affordable and tone down of the RS.

Sdf4786k Twincharged March 10, 2017 Author Share March 10, 2017 The gt looks very nice and competively priced comparing to the gti. A more affordable and tone down of the RS. question then would be, does it handle like a GTi and is it wet clutch ? Please check on the Road tax bracket while you are reviewing your choice for the Reanult. It may look 1.6-ish. but it falls into the 2.0 road tax bracket. Not a biggie. BUT if policy change in future, you maybe saddle for a shock.
