New Renault Megane - very 3 series

This looks very 3 series.

 

If only it drives like one, it wuld be perfect.

I only know the Megane has been all along a FWD hatchback. To compare it to a bmw 3series, a RWD sedan? Seems pretty far fetched. Anyway I do not think it looks bmw-ish. It probably looks more like their concept car. Renault Alpine or something.

yeah, the megane Cup is still one of the fastest around the nurburg ring.

 

There is no point in disputing rear wheel is always a better drive as in the case of the 3 series. But then again, heard the Jag XE is catching up in this area. But comparison wise FWD should never compare with Rear wheel drive.

The car looks good. Just a bit subjective on the line down on the head lights.. It's personal preference.

Based on the latest rumours in terms of expected engine line-up, it seems likely that Wearnes will bring in the 130 hp 1.2 turbo petrol that is paired to a 6-speed dual clutch gearbox. The only other auto option is the 200hp 1.6 turbo petrol with the latest 7-speed version of the same dual clutch gearbox. But I would think the former makes more sense to keep it in CAT A so it can compete toe to toe with the 308 and Golf.

Nice head & tail lights..but this brand very difficult to move in sales. Might be a game changer though.. snatch some biz from volvo v40, bmw 1series, mercs A class, audi a1
