Just collected my Kadjar after a long wait.. Had a great sales consultant who is very helpful and accomodative to my many requests. Overall great experience with Wearnes and Renault.

Good that you had a positive experience. I was not satisfied with mine, and was glad to never have to interact again after I collected my ride. Did not inform me about a roadshow that will be held 1 week later when I placed the order:offering guaranteed COE at the same price. Had to bang table to get Wearnes to upgrade me to guaranteed for free. Never informed me whether they are bidding for me or not every round of COE bidding. Even when I can see for myself that the COE has been secured, still no word. Until I asked (just to play with them) then got reply. Cock up the road tax payment and wasn't able to register the car until the 11th hour the day before I was due to collect.

Some more at the end ask me for a favourable review for higher commission xD

only incompetent and ketok agents will ask you to change aircon refrigerant when there are no leaks and everything is working. this sort of agent will avoid forever.

i wonder if they also change their home aircon and fridge refrigerant frequently.

I thought so too. today ac comes charged. You don't event need to charge in refrigerant. But heard this story from 2 owners. 5008 and 3008 series so must be a general instruction given to the workshop.

Hi guys

Just wondering for those of you who got the Standard and/or BOSE Edition series,

1. What freebies or discounts did you get/ask for when you book for the ride?

2. Did you negotiate further on the listed price?

3. How much was the price that you got at the point of time? (Immed COE or Bid?)

Thought it'll be good to share among fellow forumers so we can all benefit.

Thanks in advance!

Just a bit of fairness....the sales guy very likely did not know about the road show that was happening the next week and almost certainly not about the promo offers. The marketing folks keep their card very closely to the chest for obvious reasons. When i was in one of the telcos, on the LAUNCH DAY of the marketing promo, we all have to come to report to HQ at 7am just to hear the marketing brief AND collect the collaterals. Then after that rush to shop to put up the posters, etc. and open shop by 11am. We also faced many customers who has bought their phones a few days before of even 2 or 3 weeks before come and scold us. It's like that. Just remember at the point of purchase it was willing buyer willing seller. So you can't fault them.

As for checking the COE, after they secure it's normal that they won't tell you IMMEDIATELY one lah. FIrstly they got many buyers. Secondly, the timeliness of informing you whether you get the COE or not actually doesn't make any difference. If you are anxious to know (which is normal) then you can check yourself (which you did). When my friends buy car i also check for them (those not car-savvy type). So i don't know where the issue is. Nowadays so many things online can do and see.

My boss buy S class also delay extra few days due to RT and Insurance....its understandable that you are excited about your car but there is also the other side of the story....

Yes fair enough if he was not privy to the details of the roadshow beforehand ... but letting me know and maybe asking if there's a chance that my deal can be upgraded to meet the roadshow offer would go a long way.

Similar to informing me about the COE bidding. First 2x bids I asked him, by the 3rd bid I had figured out how to look it up by myself. He would also have caught on to what his customer would likely need and adjust his approach maybe?

None of these things are particularly damning I agree, but it just indicates to me that he's not too customer orientated. Especially for this make, it's no Toyota, they don't sell hundreds per SE.

Got Standard Edition. Full LED headlights and Reverse camera on the Bose edition would be nice but not worth the extra premium paid. Bose speakers and Sunroof I don't care about.

1. Solar Film (They only gave windscreen and the 2x front windows, claimed that doing it on the back 2x windows would tint it too much). Front and Rear Cam.

2. Got it at ~$110k. Did not negotiate further as it was at the lowest point, previously was $125k

3. As above. Non-guaranteed later upgraded to guaranteed for free.

I did not push hard for freebies. When I ordered it was at $43k COE and I was expecting it to go North from there (which it did). So I wanted to secure the COE before all else. If interested in more freebies, book at their roadshow, they throw in quite a bit of stuff.

Nice ... good price at a low COE @ $43k. Think lowest so far this year ...

Promo Price as recent as a week ago was at $117k for the Standard Edition. Now its $124k  [smash] .

Neutral Newbie

just to share some info on my recent booking on the renault kadjar.

i went to place a booking on the kadjar during a road show after the NDP week.

FYI

when you signed on the trade in agreement to hand over your current car, there is clause stated a 10% penalty on the agreed car price if you chose to break the contract.

for those owners whom has a current car to trade in to wearnes. please take note this 10% penalty clause
