why were they attacked? cobras would take up a defensive pose and spread out their hood and hiss loudly before spitting. Those bangla must have continued to provoke the snakes.

They took out their "pipe" and blow at it to do snake dance.

"Pipe" no sound but spat sticky substance.

Cobra see cobra do...so cobra also spit lor.

Supercharged

Looks too small to be a king cobra. Saw one many many years ago. Almost black and took up three quarters of Jurong Road near where the lorry park is (previously occupied by a sawmill).

The scary thing is that this king cobra snacks on other snakes

So now I m wondering if there are other snacks loitering around the vicinity coz these king Cobras usually shy away from humans so maybe they came out because they were hunting for their prey

So if the king cobra is caught along with the Python still ok, other instances which only catch the king cobra, how huh?!

Squirrels are super cute, chipmunks [:p]

Eh, do you eat snakes meat?

if python kana bite from king cobra, will it die from the venom? :confident:

At one time Python had an upper hand with a strangle hold around the Cobra's neck.

The constrictor seems to be aware its opponent venomous bite.

Anyway, it is extremely rare for both to get into broad daylight fight since snakes hate hot midday sun and prefer cooler, darker places and usually nocturnal.

Actually, I am glad to see adult top-predators alive and fighting- it indicates that our natural ecosystem is, for now, sustainable.

NTU is at the fringe of Lim Chu Kang training ground, so there are acres of protected natural zones.

You might even catch a glimse of a family of wild boars doing its routine breakfast rounds near NTU parameter footpath.

Wait till the squirrel stay in ur roof. Every night, cannot sleep with them running around, making all sorts of noises. And no, the squirrel here dont store nuts like in the cartoons. They eat, litter and pee at the same place.

My grandma's place. Used to have lots of fruit trees. Mango, rambutan, banana, jack fruit and chiku. Also got pandan leaves. Never had to buy fruits, just pluck and eat. Now no more liao.
