actually see bay boh standard, print stickers and ask people to paste. should be a total reprint. reflection of government's approach towards situations ? patch and cover up instead of proper fixing...

heng its on the folder and not on the note itself ...

Its a pity on this imperfection but considering the huge quality the folders have been printed, it will be quite costly to replace everything, sticker is the cheapest but not ideal as this is an important n commemorative set meant as keepsakes

Marketing n QC fail...

Mr Ravi Menon, MAS Managing Director:

“This should never have happened, is not acceptable, and I take full responsibility. I apologise on behalf of my colleagues who worked hard to prepare the notes and folders but are deeply disappointed that we made this most unfortunate mistake. We will put this right,”

.......... Mr Jason Teng, 37, who obtained 15 sets yesterday, was not bothered by the error.

"I wouldn't have noticed it if it wasn't pointed out to me. I care more about the note than the packaging," said the jeweller.

He added candidly: "The error might even turn the commemorative set into an even more rare collector's item."

Also not really bothered with the spelling mistake. It's a folder given free. Remember,we are getting at face value, not paying extra for the folder. Quality wise is quite good for something free. I know it may hurt resale value to some people.

Next time when someone show me the notes can I say they are counterfeit. Wrong spelling between ththnote and cover. Furthermore sticker .. hahaha

First world country. Failed in such simple visual inspection. Don't tell me from design to printing all handle by one pair of eye.

In other countries when there are errors printed in the notes that particular batch of notes become collector items and their value increase significantly.

If for me I won't comprain this SG50 commemorative notes are already in limited numbers.

Complacency or lack of dignity in their job. I can accept oversight on wrong series number, colouring not right or even numerice years. Name! What a shame.

Yes it can be a collectable item with appreciating value. The point here is trust and confidence with our mas. Something must be very very wrong along the chain of printing those set of (cover/ notes). Visual inspection should has spotted such a simple mistake. Even primary school kid can spot a name written wrongly. Really outrageous for mas to come up with such simple glaring mistake.

Heng ah! I got 2 sets with this error. I definitely won't be putting sticker over it. How often do one have chance got minting sets with error. It's like striking 4D😄😄. Though Spore is a world class country, error still do happen as long as it involves human. It takes someone familiar with malay name n a sharp eye to distinguish letter k & h. No one is perfect.
