ALL Escalator/Elevator/Excavator related accidents!

I did not know cannot push prams onto escalators.

Can lah but it’s a difficult balancing and landing the wheels correctly, after sometime of trials and errors ( without baby in pram) can do it, right now it’s give n take , but if too many incidents and too many managements complain then if become Law then problem ...... of course will lead to falling birth rate

Once, I was stuck in the elevator for 4 hours. It was challenging to rescue me because I was between floors, and it was hard to get access there.

Actually between floors aren't the difficult part. As long as the right technician came, able to locate where you are stuck and he has gone to the lift motor room to switch off the power, the rest will be routine. 4 hours probably are due to these reasons. 😆

Oh, I totally get your point! Safety should always come first, especially with escalators and elevators. I remember this one time I got stuck in an elevator – talk about a heart-pounding experience! Luckily, the landlord quickly got a reliable company to fix it.

Luckily, the landlord quickly got a reliable company to fix it. Speaking of which, back in Singapore, I had some pretty smooth experiences with an elevator company. They were on top of their game when it came to maintenance. I wonder if you could find something similar for my area in Texas.

@Princavir By right the mandatory Automatic Rescue Device (ARD) should bring the lift to the nearest landing and Emergency Battery Operated Power Supply (EBOPS) will operate the fan and lights while those trapped in the car are waiting for rescue. A lot of times is the battery failure cos nobody checked in between the specialist's inspections.

By right most things work but due to cheap labour, many are by left lor. Today, lifts are supposed to be so smart they self learn and received signal of possible fault 24x7. Garbage in garbage out. Just good for marketing lah. 😆
