Agreed. No camera means no evidence unless u got an independent witness.

Insurer told me to prepare for a 50/50 also cause I could not get the video out at the time. When I got the video out taxi suddenly wanted to settled privately, I whack the bugger with a 300% of the cost and sold the car without fixing the door

What you said reminded me about my poor cousin. He was turning right with the light in his favor and a SOB beat the light and smashed into him. He got concussion by the whip lash and was hospitalized but the SOB got a fake witness to say cousin was the one who was against the light and he lost his case, got fined and even suspended license for 12 months. Sad case, but in the eyes of the law only evidence matters - especially you have to be prepared that the other side is ready to play dirty by using fake witness. Hallelujah to video cams..
