Osprey23 Turbocharged April 8, 2016 Share April 8, 2016 One German TV initially wanted to have a Klopp cam to focus on him for 90 min. At the pre match, the Red's boss labelled it as a crazy idea and "considering" not to speak to that tv station anymore if they proceed with it We know what happened to that idea. http://www.espnfc.co.uk/uefa-europa-league/story/2845403/jurgen-klopp-no-longer-to-be-focus-of-klopp-cam-at-dortmund ↡ Advertisement

Yuan 6th Gear April 8, 2016 Share April 8, 2016 No worries bro, as you know I have strong views on football ownership and money so perhaps I didn't post clearly so apologies for that as well. For the record, Ashley is not the worst FC owner. Gillette and Hicks are the worst followed by and at the risk of antagonizing United fans, the Glazer family. Can name a few more but shall leave it as this. I don't have the full picture nor figures but you don't borrow against a football club and then use the money to buy it. That even Ashley is not guilty of so maybe I'm too harsh on him. I sympathize the Toon fans and feel they deserve better cos as you know they are a passionate lot there. 50k+ fans fill their stadium for every home match watching a team third from the bottom, if that is not support I don't know what is Have a good day!! The folks on the North East are all passionate about their football. Not just Newcastle United. You will have Sunderland and Middlesborough as well.

Maxus-MIFA9 Supersonic April 8, 2016 Author Share April 8, 2016 Mai Tu Leow....... Sell Sell Sell ..... Yahoo : Atletico Madrid Set for Shock £37m Move for Liverpool's Christian Benteke Atletico Madrid are preparing a huge £37m bid for Liverpool's Christian Benteke, according to reports in Spain. Apparently, Atletico have yet to do their due diligence on the player considering that Benteke has been far from impressive for the Merseyside giants this season. Benteke has fallen down the pecking order under Jurgen Klopp after scoring just eight goals in 34 appearances for The Reds this campaign. However, this has left Atletico boss Diego Simeone undeterred, as the Argentine has reportedly admired Benteke since his time at Aston Villa. Due to Jackson Martinez's £32m switch to the Chinese Super League in January, Atletico have an abundant transfer kitty to spend - With Benteke one of the main targets. According to Mundo Deportivo , Simeone has urged his board to meet Liverpool's hopeful demands of £37m. Benteke signed for Liverpool last Summer for £32.5m but he has been at the centre of a huge amount of transfer speculation in recent weeks, following Jurgen Klopp's public ticking off of the player during his side's 3-2 defeat to Southampton last month. link : https://sg.sports.ya...9.html?cmp=ukfb

Agreed Sunderland also have a passionate fan base n looks like the 2 NE giants are in deep trouble! Ironically, Boro is 2nd in the Championship so likely the NE will still have an EPL team

They were the only firm offer for him in January but he turned it down. If they come back for him again in the summer, he might seriously consider. If it is the same team that want Balo, maybe can negotiate a package deal Anyway, just been told that last summer relationship between BR and committee was very tense. BR wanted Benteke but committee was against it. BR threatened to veto the signing of Firmino unless we pay the release clause for Benteke. FSG had no choice to fork out £32.5m because Klopp wasn't ready to take over in the summer as his wife insisted that he took time off to rest. If Klopp was ready, Benteke won't be signed.
