Schalke will comment on Matip's future later today. I will be very surprise if it isn't a move to Liverpool in the summer

Done deal. 4-year deal. Joining in the summer

Hooray for spurs.

The last time they won the league and also did the double in 61.

This yr end in 16. Reverse of 61. Maybe they can win again. Haha.

And irony is they lost to newcastle. Man utd n leicester in that champion yr ..

Omens r good

but if I was betting... it won't be with the Gunners... I'd put my money on either the Chicken or the Fox...

According to Daily Mirror, Man Utd are willing to part £60m for Aubameyang. It is unsure though whether Aubameyang would be willing to sacrifice UCL football to make the move.

As expected, Spanish press divided on Barca's penalty trick. Most of the journos saying it is arrogant belong to the pro Madrid camp so have to take with a pinch of salt.

That said, I can see where they coming from as well. The Brits always say you beat your opponent, not humiliate them. Really divisive this penalty as you either love it as a brilliant piece of artistry or you hate it, no in between I guess.

Looks like s-league fans following EPL fans.

Supporters of one of our oldest team Geylang International spotted with scarves saying "you can't buy history". An obvious dig at the Man City of our league, Tampines Rovers with their star player Jermaine Pennant. The signing of Pennant whether you agree or not has revived interest in our league where a crowd of almost 3,000 turned up on a Monday night at Jurong West, promising start for a league which was on the verge of going extinct with the poor turn outs last few seasons.

Pennant updated the score on his personal Twitter account but not much response :D

Geylang played Tampines at Jurong?

For me, I am neutral about it. Firstly, it happened in La Liga and secondly not against a team I support. So from a neutral perspective, I kind of agreed with what the Vigo coach said. Well within the rule, the Barcalona forwards can score in whatever way they like.

Let's hope next week Arsenal get a pen and do it back on them ;)

I don't normally sit on the fence but like you, this one is tough but I lean towards not doing this for sporting reasons and anyway just take it the normal way, no need so fanciful I feel.

I feel Barca would have been castigated more in the EPL than in La Liga cos the Brits are strong stickler of respect though this is subjective in this case. Maybe Vigo coach is like Ranieri whilst if it happened to Simeone, Wenger, Fergie or JM, I doubt if they would be so cordial. Guess we'll never know. It's always the Latins who like to showboat.

Yes agreed, nothing like giving someone a taste of their own medicine!
