get wisdom n ilori back also. jus in case whoever they buy gets injured as well. really suay with all these injuries.

Next game vs Exeter might need the academy CBs to play. Hopefully the seniors can get back in time for Arsenal.

Wisdom don't think can recall but even if can, no point because he also recovering from hamstring injury. Only Ilori but not sure of his fitness level

looks like Can is cursed to play CB role

whether under BR or under JK  [laugh]

Hmm… he's german.

maybe he can follow in the footsteps of beckenbauer and mattias sammer to be energetic defender that can help attacks?

L'Equipe reported Liverpool are interested in Lorient left back, Raphaël Guerreiro. He turned 22 last month and has 3 caps for Portugal.

Another news, Newcastle bid more than €25 million for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, adding that the French striker rejected the move.

Official: Grujic joins Liverpool from Red Star Belgrade, where he will immediately return on loan until the end of the season.

Looks like the reports from Serbia is off the mark. He will still be loaned back

the soccernet keeps buzzing with transfer rumours of Man Utd targetting to buy Bale and Neymar, and Man City buying Messi, which are damn ridiculous because it will never happen

Bale highly unlikely as long as Perez is the President.

Neymar and Messi? Hmm.....

Realistic targets for them:

Man Utd Felipe Anderson (linked since last summer)

Man City Isco

pool need panic buying for CD?

Yes, Klopp is apparently trying to get Subotic on loan.

Italian papers naming another defender but after the Kovacic and Shaqiri links, I don't trust them anymore

By the way, the player reported in the Italian press is Andre Ranocchia, the Inter CB who had an offer from Norwich.

He is currently being frozen out at Inter and apparently they are willing to let him leave in Jan

Nope not according to villa and ex pool boss.

I wouldnt trust a club that will b relegated n a manager who might as well manage a relegated team.

Agree with you on this bro.

Villa looking to consolidate and building a team for a long term to fight this relegation and if fail to survive, fight to return to EPL. Loan players are uncertainty.

BR imo, is a poor judge on defenders. Doesn't rate Sakho, doesn't rate Moreno. If he doesn't rate Ilori, I think he will be good. :D

In any case, Ilori can't play for Pool in the FA Cup tie. Too late to register.

Based on his performance with Portugal U21, I would certainly say he has the potential.

He is quick, good on the ball but to survive in the physical EPL, he might have to beef up a little more

Arsenal have offered BVB €60 million for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang according to credible sources.

I do believe Arsenal have this kind of money and Auba will be a great signing for them. Question is whether BVB would allow him to leave in Jan and whether he wants this move. Auba said before his preferred next move is to Spain.

Apparently both Souness n Allardyce have commented that Pool's injuries are due to the high intensity style of Klopp's which will take its toll in the tougher EPL with almost no rest in between n a punishing schedule of 2 matches a week.

Allardyce comments I took with a pinch of salt cos they clashed recently so some sourness in the comments IMO but Souness being a neutral saying this as well makes u think if it's indeed the case.

Some food for thought.....
