borh goals conceded are crosses to the far post letting the strikers taking on the shorter fullbacks.

Going forward, direct balls to Benteke not productive. Second half Pool tried to move the ball faster but the lack of movement in the final third makes it tough to open up West Ham. Few good chances from corners also didn't capitalise.

Bad start for Pool fans in 2016

Worthy winners West Ham. Collins basically had Benteke in his pocket.

Next game vs Stoke hopefully can see drastic improvement

With Benteke still playing as a striker, no way against Stoke ... :yuush:

Benteke should be sold in Jan window.. :serious-business:

England need a striker for Rugby, Benteke should take over that position.

Every balls by him were above the goal post... :ninja:

To be fair to him, there was no quality support. But he needs to put his big frame to use. He is not even challenging hard enough in the air. Firmino needs to up his game big time. Even Coutinho was a flop Edited by Crashburner

TBF to Coutinho, he will not do well with Benteke up front. Too static, no run or wrong runs. Frustrating big time. Granted, few times yesterday he should have passed instead of shoot when Moreno and Firmino were making a dash into the channels.

Firmino we will have to give him time. He didn't do too badly last night in my opinion.

When I saw Lucas pairing with Can as the middle two, I know it will be tough. Play Lucas can but you need 2 shuttlers beside him. Klopp had no choice with both Hendo and Milner out.

“I was a defender, I enjoyed it. It’s a nice part of the game, you get dirty after, it’s not a problem, you don’t have to wash your clothes yourself. It’s our responsibility [to defend].”

Klopp wise words...

With Grujic in the bag (barring failing of medical today), Pool are hoping to tie up Matip on a pre contract. Will possibly lose out on Sané likely as Bild reporting that Man City will be offering £43m for him

According to Marca, Jose Mourinho would jump at the chance to rejoin Real Madrid.

I think his chance coming. Rafa's position is shaky

Outlets from Serbia reporting that Liverpool are paying €1m more to Red Star to cancel the loan option. Grujic will stay on.

There might have some changes.

Sources confirmed the reports.

Apparently the decision now lies on the player. Liverpool is willing to pay that extra €1m to keep him.

Surprisingly, it is the "not so supportive" father who wants an immediate move. He prefers his son to make the move perm so as to allow the son to settle faster and establish himself into Klopp's team.

Pool might really sign a new keeper. But he is for the future :D

Liverpool reportedly agree deal for 16 year old goalkeeper Kamil Grabara from Polish side Ruch Chorzow.

Separately, indication is that Rafa will be sacked later and Zidane will take over. No JM return
