Comprehensively and deservingly beaten. Klopp's honeymoon period is officially over and he needs to really make good use of the Jan window to strengthen.

 

This setup offers fluidity but couldn't match up in terms of physicality and strength. Worse still, the narrow setup is very difficult to break defense that sit deep and play direct football.

 

Klopp saw the issue and made the changes and Pool tried to go route 1 as well. Too bad can't get back into it.

Yup, yesterday game was one of his worst outing but as I said, if not for Lovren's injury, he won't be rushed back.

 

Sakho is the best of the lots we have now and unless Lovren can be worked to pair with him, Klopp will have to sign another CB.

 

I never rated Skrtel as a top class defender. He is at most decent but his lack of positioning and constantly playing opponents onside really irk me
