Scion Turbocharged March 31, 2016 Share March 31, 2016 how many world class players can go on to be legendary managers? i can only think of 3 - Beckenbauer, Cruyff, Ancelotti hope Zidane can also do it at Real Madrid but many others such as Maradona, Keane, Shearer, Bryan Robson, Gullit, etc all couldn't make it as managers ↡ Advertisement
Osprey23 Turbocharged March 31, 2016 Share March 31, 2016 I find his 4months stint 3 months overstay...never like that chap even when I was a ManU fan... Didn't JM meet up with PL in the lion city...no deal? You mean you no longer Man U fan? They met up but I think is for some event here. Don't think JM will be interested in that job. I will be surprised if Stegen comes to EPL. Why? EPL too low standard for him?

If not for Hillsborough, he might have achieved more as a manager.
Osprey23 Turbocharged March 31, 2016 Share March 31, 2016 Just been told that Matt Law who wrote that article about Ter Stegen going City is not really that reliable. *Hope up* Also heard that Gotze is not the only player Klopp wants from Bayern. ;)

Osprey23 Turbocharged March 31, 2016 Share March 31, 2016 Jiangsu Suning will offer Mario Balotelli £225,000 per week to join them according to reports. That's the kind of money that is worthy of his God-like status in China.

Spring Moderator March 31, 2016 Share March 31, 2016 Be a little kinder bro The reason why Giggs may not be ready is bec he has yet to achieve the footballing zen that will inspire confidence among the players He is part of the LVG management no matter how one argues it Many say JM doesn't fit, parks the bus etc etc But in normal times, JM team always wins and many instances score goals Look at his times at Real, Milan and Chelsea and some record breaking scoring record too at Real Many fans say, Oh must play beautiful attacking football and even lose like that never mind Fans have very short memory. remember the years that Sir Alex teams played to so many 1-0 wins and packed the bus and played with just 1 upfront in big matches and depended on counter attacks? That won the championships. So this talk of JM playing style doesn't fit manu U are just ideas implanted in the minds of many from all the papers and it gets repeated all over If one analyses JM tactics carefully, one will know he plays to win. Only against big teams with fast attacking players, he plays to nullify them. Would think that what is against JM at man U is his sometimes childish petulant behaviour esp when his team loses You have some valid points and its true that as long as you win, it doesn't matter what method you use but that's the tricky bit isn't it "as long as you win". Problem is no one, not even JM can always win and fans can turn against you quickly if the team starts losing few games and then the fingers start wagging on "lose already bad enough still play this boring game" which aggravates the situation. It's also not helped that United fans have been brought up used to the attacking game that Fergie normally adopts. This is my opinion and it will be interesting to see if what I say actually pans out if JM does join United or he actually gets embraced by the Board and fans alike n bring United back to their glory. I'm not holding my breadth though....

Little_prince Supersonic March 31, 2016 Share March 31, 2016 ah seng wanker also plays nice foot ball fans also turn against him when losing lol what can i say? fans are fickle. Don't think JM will be interested in that I move from club to club...whichever made me slightly better off I sarpork. ManU was most predictable and made my days in the 90s. Right now, I only support clubs that play good entertaining football...win or lose don't matter to me anymore.
Spring Moderator March 31, 2016 Share March 31, 2016 ah seng wanker also plays nice foot ball fans also turn against him when losing lol what can i say? fans are fickle. Think my point is: 1) results first 2) style second For Wenger, he can't get a very good Arsenal team to win the EPL (very likely but it's not over yet) and hence the fans get frustrated despite the obvious beautiful football they play. Aggravated by his stubbornness to buy even when finances allow (will not dwell too much on this cos its subjective and he has bought players like Sanchez n Ozil but I personally feel more can be done) Anyway, if first objective not fulfilled then no beautiful football can compensate for it I'm afraid. For JM, he gets results so he fulfills the primary objective and credit to him for that so secondary objective is not crucial whilst first objective is fulfilled BUT when first objective of winning dwindles, it will not be helped by the fact that second objective is also not fulfilled and so it becomes a bullet to shoot him with. That's my take on JM and for clubs who don't mind short term success, he may be a good fit but I feel United wants longer term stability, youngsters to be promoted etc, in short another Fergie but that JM is not and so that's why I don't see him as a good fit at United but he is definitely the better choice than Giggs.

Osprey23 Turbocharged March 31, 2016 Share March 31, 2016 mai tu liao. we will wrap him up in a ribbon and deliver him to Cheena Not just Pool will be happy, those charities in African will be too. From what I know, Balo donates 50% of his salaries to them. So with a double pay check, the charities might get to receive more too. This Balo honestly you ask me, is quite a decent human being. just too bad as a footballer, he will always be judged by his efforts on the pitch and during training.
Osprey23 Turbocharged March 31, 2016 Share March 31, 2016 I think it is challenging to find an EPL team that has the same quality as his current team which includes MSN. He wants more games. In his recent interview, mentioned about even if Barcelona goes all the way to UCL final, he will only play 25 games. To him, that's not enough. He wants to play every game as the No.1 keeper. Lewandowski? Lol I also hope. This one is a strange one, so waiting for more confirmation. Javi Martinez.
