Looks like Ibe will get to start against Palace. Milner out with a tight hamstring.

Arsenal lucky to draw though they could even have won but fair result

Spurs were very good first half based on stats.

Pool lost to boogie team again but at least this time round the play was much better compared to last meeting. Could have sealed the game by half time if the front line didn't waste all the chances created.

Klopp made a bold move by taking out Can (who is obviously needing a rest) and subbed in Firmino. Lallana was pairing Lucas in central mid and midfield from then overran.

Like what Klopp said, learn from the defeat and the sun will shine again

CP capitalise on a couple crucial defensive errors and punished Pool dearly.  Pool played reasonably ok except patches at the start and end of the game whereby CP punished them.

more worringly is the knee injury sustained by Sakho. He is one of the best players under Klopp.

Emre Can can't seems to do simple things right at the moment.  It was his weak touch in the penalty area which set up the Bolasie strike at the penalty spot.

I think Henderson's return cant be more welcomed.  Under this 4-2-3-1 setup, he should be the one beside Lucas to provide the energy while Lucas do his tactical positioning...

The "Chosen One" to be "The Sacked One" within 24 hrs ......

Sky Sport : Former Manchester United boss David Moyes 'to be sacked by Real Sociedad'

David Moyes will be sacked by Real Sociedad within the next 24 hours, according to Sky Sports' Spanish football expert Guillem Balague.

Moyes, who took over the club almost exactly a year ago, has won just two of his 11 La Liga games in charge this season and the team

are 16th in the division.

Balague believes the decision was taken after the away defeat to Las Palmas on Friday and made because of a lack of improvement after 12 months under the former Everton and Manchester United boss.

Moyes was due to fly to Spain on Sunday night but his flight was delayed, and the 52-year-old is now due to return to San Sebastian on Monday when he is expected to meet with the club's president Jokin Aperribay.

"When he gets there, he will meet the board of directors and certainly the chairman, and he will be sacked," Balague told Sky Sports.

"That is something that perhaps he will not expect because this morning he said he was prepared to fight for his position and thought he had enough arguments to be able to help the team keep performing.

"And actually he has been 38 games in charge, which is more or less a full season, and won 46 points, which is not terrible and certainly not a sacking offence.

If we are to play with 2 central mid, I would hold a differing view bro. With 2 in central mid, one has to be dominating destroyer. Currently our team doesn't have one. Lucas with all his heart, desire and experience, cannot cover the ground as needed.

For Can, he is only starting to learn how to operate as CM since Klopp. As said before, BR wasted a year of his development by playing him as a defender. Young players will make mistakes but if we are to stop giving him chance to play after a bad game, he won't improve.

Nothing against Lucas but if Hendo is back and we are to play a midfield 2, Can will get my vote ahead of Lucas.

For me, I will play Lucas ahead of Can at the moment. Plenty of potential for Can but but but, he is not playing consistently enough to be the main midfield anchor in my view.

Lucas's rich vein of form shouldnt be ignored. He is playing well cos he is being utilised well under Klopp. Imho, Klopp should complement Lucas' strengths and limitations given the lack of the midfield destroyer at the moment.  Henderson gets the nod for me to partner Lucas because he can cover so much ground. His range of passing would be useful.

Agree to disagree then. :)

But I do agree with your last point on Hendo and that's also the main reason for me to choose Can as the partner as his box-to-box runs will compliment Hendo better. Either one can move up while the other cover.

no worries bro. Just different pts of view.

With Lucas playing like his heydays, I would tend to maximise that advantage so that Can can get up to speed within a safety zone.  I do think one day Can will become the CM/Dm 1st team for the long haul. Just at the moment,.. I think he is making the odd mistakes here and there...

Looks like Jose and David are not the only managers having their jobs on the line.

Garry Monk is on the verge of being sacked as Swansea manager after just 1 win in 8 games.
