Alechi 2nd Gear July 30, 2015 Share July 30, 2015 Been buying fruit juice from the stall for a while now. And always wondering why sometimes the juice tastes diluted. Finally, today let me see the juicing lady spraying plain water very quickly while juicing. Confronted them and they say boss asked them to do so. Freaking a**holes. Last time they get my business. ↡ Advertisement

Wah ! Your thread title scares me to open up to read, because I recalled my NSF days eating in camp cook house horror stories......... 1) Using dirty sock as strainer 2) Pour urine into soup 3) Spit saliva into meat gravy Extra ingredients for Officer's & NCO's

Last time they get my business. its quite normal la....... u think this is the only stall doing this? i'm not saying all stalls are doing the same "cheating", but the common cheating are: 1. add water 2. worse, add sugar water! 3. add alot of ice be a smart customer and only buy from ethical stalls. Personally, buying fruit juice is one of the most cut throat business in the world. And customers are dumb enough to keep patronising. Eat fruits at home is the best.

When I buy fruit juice, I add $0.50-$1 for no ice. Look at the lady juice it and pay up. No chance for hanky panky.

Moniq 2nd Gear July 31, 2015 Share July 31, 2015 Many years back, I have also seen this stall that sells sugar cane dipping the entire bunch of canes into water before putting through the extractor... Dip will have negligible effect compared to let it soak in water due to capilarry action.
