This is my own opinion but... I find the new Mitsu designs really ugly... and their engines... meh.

I think Nissan is getting ahead of them really quickly. Nissan used to have pretty ugly Sedans...

Er ... posting in right forum? what is relationship to Vitara talk?

Unless you are saying Mitsu ASX worse than Suzuki Vitara

while Nissan sedans not so fantastic still, their SUV QQ worth taking a look as a competitor to Vitara

Since 1.6 n 6at, i think will beat hrv 1.5.

Maybe or maybe not.

Honda engines are very powerful for their small size as they are the best in reducing engine friction and maximise horsepower as a result.  If Honda Vezel (rather than HRV) most likely will be better than Suzuki 1.6

All 4WD? How many in Singapore will take their car off road!!

If they bring in the 2WD it might be priced too close to the S-cross. Who knows if they will change their mind and sell the 2WD later!

(edited)

That's a fair price isn't it? Any comments from others? Maybe OMV low?

To me $106k good for a 4wd. But still need to see the list of features and final ok from my Royal highness. She may disapprove it because not make in Japan :(

Btw anyone had experience champ motor gives better price when trade in existing Suzuki when buying new one. Aka loyalty.

Sorry not been following, it's not made in Japan?

I going motor show next weekend so will lookout for this car.

Previous Vitara was well received I remember but not much marketing on this new one I feel.

Like the S-Cross, the Vitara is built in Hungary I believe.

The last time I spoke to one SE in the 2015 motorshow, they offered me $1K off if trading in an old Suzuki... or was it $500? Certainly no more than $1K.

very fair price.

just realised that although the vitara is 100mm shorter in the wheelbase you get a 6AT instead of the CVT in the s-cross. wonder if it works better.

Neutral Newbie

New vitara is 1.6 NA? The previous is 2L model.

Previous 2L is Grand Vitara. Vitara have disappeared from our shores for quite sometime.

Anyway, it is available for viewing and sale tomorrow already at Suzuki showroom. Just received a call from the SE. Pre motorshow promotion available.
