I went to check Borneo Motors: They offer also the latest model Blackvue DR650GW-1CH at $404.46 + $32.10(Install Fee) They also have the Celllink B3 Battery Pack. States this: Cellink B3 can be fully charged within 45 minutes of continuous driving. Safety features such as high temperature cut-off and short circuit protection makes it suitable for in-car usage in our local weather conditions. Cost $254.66 + $16.05(Install Fee). Is this cheap or got better price which good recommendation from experts here. I will research more tomorrow. Thanks for all this info. Will check out incar cam thread and look for more info. Thank you. ↡ Advertisement

Thank you. No worries. It is really better to have a car cam installed. Im not too sure about price now. But if Borneo offer that package, the probable advantage is they install for you before collection car.. but check around blackvue agents in Sg for stock n prices (or other brands agents) cheers
Sglanevo 2nd Gear March 8, 2016 Share March 8, 2016 As mentioned, quite often will be parking in open carpark. Then the cam is unable to handle our sunlight even with tint. How? the iroad t10 consume less power but didnt state it can withstand heat. How does korea themselves handle this with the cams?
Lmy102 Neutral Newbie November 12, 2016 Share November 12, 2016 On 8/15/2015 at 11:57 PM, kodo said: Hi, I have been using blackvue 650 (2 channels) with sandisk 64gb microSD since March 15. It was also installed with cell-B batt pack. So far no issue despite parking under the hot sun most of the time. Cheers I use my Blackvue 650 , 2 channels for 2 years now and it started giving problem by not recognising the plug in SD card. I use class 10 micro SD but the camera kept saying "no SD card" . I bought hundreds of dollars of class 10 micro SD cards because I play with Hero cameras too. All the new cards, class 10 would not work on my Blackvue so the cost $650/24months= $27 dollars per month. Time to change out the camera it seems. Looks like, Korea made or not, 2 years is the life span. I am think of replacing with another brand. All my other previous in car cameras from SIM LIM Square did not last more than 6 months. They burnt out the SD Cards and it was expensive to operate having to change SD Cards all the time, one card one month usage maximum. So beware Blackvue would be buyer, it does not last forever, not even for 3 years.
