Yep at turf club but I chose the pearl white in AML. They told me only that white got both safety sense + led. U got the flex tone pearl white?

Pearl white yes, but i dun remember it being flex tone.

Was making deposit this morning at Ubi and overheard a call from Turf club.

Seems like you got the last available unit. (and me 2nd last).

I commited at Turb Club but got the one from AML as they told me thats the only white with both safety sense and led. While they are checking stock, the white with brown trimming one got sold. Thought it was you hehe.

haha. Mirror here. They told me my selected car is at turf club.

Originally wanted to wait for silver batch with safety sense, and have to wait till march. But by then the trade in price for my current car is not attractive.

Neutral Newbie

Dear ZFuYuan & LimWeeLi,

Can I ask who do you buy your Sienta from? is it AutoLink?
Does it has LED light?
Which other PI sells Sienta with Safety Sence C feature?
I want to learn more about this car, and the reputation of the PI.
If you can share, I will be very thankful, because I am new to the market.
Thank you.

From what I know, only Autolink bring in the hybrid version. So I got it from them. I chose one with safety sense and led.

I am newbie to PI cars too. For me, I choose based on ready stock, coe package and warranty coverage. Since there is a lot of PI sellomg sienta, price is quite competitive. Just monitor for any adjustments during weekends.

1) Yes

2) Yes

3) Not sure, since my focus is on the hybrid version.

Official website is quite detail - http://toyota.jp/sienta/

For PI reputation, i take a simple approach and check if they are case accredited - https://www.casetrust.org.sg/accreditation-detail.aspx?id=3

Hi PaulQuay

Yes for hybrid so far looks like most people buy from Autolink since they gave 8 years warranty.

Other more well known PI are like Vincar and Richburg (these are some that are in business for longer time, just to name a few). Look for those case trusted one if possible.

But last i checked with Vincar, they only can provide me 3 years for hybrid hence I turned to Autolink. Honestly my previous experience with VIncar has been good too (bought my Wish from them 11 years ago and they also managed to fix 2 recall for it for free).

Like limweeli mentioned, myself also choose based on available stock, coe package & warranty coverage since my current car coe is expiring jan 2016 and cannot wait any longer.

This car is among the top seller in Japan now so if you choose now it can easily take your delivery after CNY.

In the regular models ranking, Toyota holds the top four positions led again by the Aqua at #1 with 18,345 units. In its second month at #2 the new Sienta is up an whopping 729% on the previous model a year ago to 11,277 and sets a record for monthly volume, smashing its previous best of 7.736 established just last month

Congrats limweeli, hope we can see more sienta hybrid on the road too!

Thanks Kteokteo!

You mentioned you saw the coverage of warranty. Did you see this in the AML branch? I asked the sales lady in Turf Club but she said they are still working on the details with Optima Werkz but assured me battery is covered in the 8 years. Also, we will need to buy the service package which cost around $500+ per 2 years with OW to maintain the warranty.

yes there is a lady (think her name is Joyce...looks like the lady boss as my sale person was busy then) shown me the warranty booklet...it didn't have hybrid parts coverage listed but i was told they will be adding it when I pick up the car. On my sales agreement it was stated 8 years for hybrid. That $500 service package was not mentioned to me...not stated in my sales agreement too leh.

It's not stated in my agreement too. My SE told me this OW package is very new and she don't have the details of what it covers yet. So 1k, 6k, 11k servicing is free. After that, we need to get their servicing package. Maybe I heard wrongly and it's optional. If $500+ covers the parts & labour, it's still ok.

I have not seen any new sienta on road yet. However you can test drive below mentioned replacement as a rough guide.

For those not aware,

- petrol sienta engine is 2NR-FKE, same as corolla axio.

- hybrid sienta engine is 1NZ-FXE, same as prius-c. (You can visit Borneo to abuse this car)
