Ohh... so you mean sienta can have spare tyre, but new cars does not come with it lar... have the option to buy on our own

Yup. If u refer to the equipment list, default is repair kit.

Add 10,800円 for spare tire.

So all depends on the configuration of the car that the PI bring in.

My mileage is quite high at 190+k for a 7 year old, doesnt really worth it for me to renew. Forsee will need to do a lot replacement parts, i have spend 4k till date this year.

Wow! Indeed high, Im nowhere near that. Then you may have to consider new or another second hand. But if you can wait, you still have 3 years so not so bad.

If the car price continue at this range, i will get a used car. Risky for old man like me, i rather have more cash in my pocket.

Hi Vinceng, this question was asked by gita 3 comments ago and my reply still stands (copy paste):

Most of us position e blower upwards for the air circulation, hence not blocking airflow. No other issues.

Also, the gear stick would be at D, out of the way of the aircon vent when the car is moving.

I got my Sienta (G model) two month ago and quite satisfied with it.

FC can reach 19.9km/l (from yishun to sentosa).

Safety Sense C does give me a sense of safe.

One thing that need to improve is the noise, which is the common problem of most Japan car.

I will change the tyre to a silent model when they are wear out.

BTW, anyone has the user manual in English? My Sienta only has a Japanese Manual and the system language is Japanese too.

Any news if borneo bringing in Indonesia Sienta ? Price be competitive? Only upgrade is the rear aircon/blower ?

Rumor is end of this year.

AD price is normally more expensive than PI.

U can read the differences between JDM and non-JDM model here and see if you are willing to accept the shortcomings for a higher price. http://paultan.org/2016/03/28/2016-toyota-sienta-indonesian-specs-revealed/

Today used up the 4th petrol top up. Total mileage clocked for the 123.5 L (Ron 95) was 2490 km. Roughly around 19km/L. A little bit disappointed as i was regularly clocking around 20+ km/l most of the time. Nevertheless is much much improved from the previous Avante.

The type of petrol use doesn't seem to have an issue with the fc unless you using V Power (i think). I'm using SPC 92 and its gives pretty good fc.

Also not sure if its the air con temp or engine oil change. I got better fc after I adjust my usual temp from 24.5 to 26.5 and my engine oil from w40 to w30..

Use 20wt.  FC will be even better.
