7seater Clutched November 15, 2015 Share November 15, 2015 Hi, went to check out Sienta last week. Didn't test drive but did have a good look both inside out. The interior is definitely an improvement compared to the old model which is already not bad. However, exterior wise, just lack that punch, my personal opinion. Mobillio external slightly better than Sienta but interior is a mile away considering both within the same price range. It would be good for owners to share their experiences on how this car performs. At depreciation of $11K per year, it has to be worth every dollar man. In Singapore depreciation around $11K for new car is consider cheap. Unless COE drop to 20K, then big difference. A used car also costing about $11K~$12K annual depreciation. However, you do not habe warranty and repair cost could an issue. That si why I never consider used car now as dealers selling at similar deprecated prices for user. Only difference is the downpayment problem for buyer.
Quirky 3rd Gear November 15, 2015 Share November 15, 2015 Looking at LTA's CEVS rebate level for hybrid's CO2 emission level, the rebate level should be more than 15k? Ya, based on my calculation on the hybrid model I bought:Price: $120.8k (price should be lower now) OMV: $22k (based on what SE told me) CEVS: $15k ARF Payable: ($20k + ($2k * 1.4)) - $15k = $7.8k PARF Rebate at the end: $7,8k * 0.5 = $3.9k Depreciation: $120.8k - $3.9k / 10 = $11.69k / year Assuming a petrol version: Price: $115.8k (assume on a higher side) OMV: $18k (being conservative) CEVS: $10k ARF Payable: $18k - $10k = $8k PARF Rebate at the end: $8k * 0.5 = $4k Depreciation: $115.8k - $4k / 10 = $11.18k / year It's a 1.5l car and advertised fuel consumption of petrol and hybrid is 20km/l and 27km/l so the running cost is quite low,
Limweeli 1st Gear November 15, 2015 Share November 15, 2015 Looking at LTA's CEVS rebate level for hybrid's CO2 emission level, the rebate level should be more than 15k? Actually, you are right. I called and got a confirmation that after testing, the CEVS is at $30k. Price: $120.8k (price should be lower now) OMV: $22k (irrelvant liao) CEVS: $30k ARF Payable: $5k (minimum ARF) PARF Rebate at the end: $2.5k (50% of minimum ARF) Depreciation: $120.8k - $3.9k / 10 = $11.83k / year

Limweeli 1st Gear November 15, 2015 Share November 15, 2015 The selling price remains? I wasn't told the price will be adjusted according to CEVS. The sales agreement also didn't state anything other than the selling price.

My understanding is $15k CEV. The hybrid emission is at 96 g/km. 1g shy of Band A1. The selling price remains? The selling price remains. Actually we got the better end of the deal. They were expecting 30k CEV, but LTA tested at 15k. Edited November 15, 2015 by Zfuyuan

Limweeli 1st Gear November 15, 2015 Share November 15, 2015 (edited) I called earlier and was told the CEVS for mine is 30k. Was it reflected in ur log card or somewhere? I finally managed to clear this confusion with my SE. Autolink's first batch of Sienta hybrids were measured by LTA to be 15k rebate. Bro Zfuyuan and mine are in the first batch. The subsequent batches are 30k. My SE also mentioned that this happened to their batches of Harriers too. So, my initial calculation is correct. Even with the 30k rebate, the difference is about $1.4k only. Edit: Wah, OMV $24k! Revised calculation should be: Price: $120.8k (price should be lower now) OMV: $24k (based on what Zfuyuan bro) CEVS: $15k ARF Payable: ($20k + ($4k * 1.4)) - $15k = $10.6k PARF Rebate at the end: $10.6k * 0.5 = $5.3k Depreciation: $120.8k - $5.3k / 10 = $11.55k / year just signed on the dotted line today. 1.5G Hybrid (White). By the way I saw quite a number of car getting ready to be pick up. Bro limweelit car is there cos it written on a piece of paper left in the dashboard. Gratz and join our FB group! This light tone interior makes the cabin looks more spacious.
