Nice summary. But some corrections needed. And updated with engine differences Think we can keep this summary updated for anyone else that stumble upon this thread? Sienta PI - JDM - gear shaft on the dashboard panel - foot brake - generally cheaper if compare apple to apple, but PI uncertainty - newer engine (2NR-FKE - 1st released in 2015, updated design for better efficiency and fuel consumption) Sienta BM - made in Thailand Indonesia - rear ceiling fan blower (not aircon) aircon - gear shaft on the car floor - handbrake - generally more pricey if compare apple to apple, but AD reliability - older engine (2NR-FE - 1st released in 2010) * list is not exhaustive* differences in the exterior and interior looks depends on the chosen grade and optional factory options: JDM (X, G) vs BM (Standard, Elegance)

Observation about aircon (maybe can append into summary too?) PI JDM - strong middle aircon blower, which can reach 3rd row (when properly adjusted) AD Indo - weaker middle blower. rear aircon taps cold pipe from main aircon. kdash Supersonic November 23, 2017 Share November 23, 2017 simplified summary of general differences between PI and AD Sienta... thanks @zfuyuan for the corrections and inputs. This means that the PI version may face difficulty in finding parts and may have to get parts from Japan in its later years as only Japanese domestic models use the 2NR-FKE engine as opposed to the 2NR-FE engine used in the new Vios which can be found more easily in this region. Note that compression ratio of official version is 11.5:1 whereas the PI version is at 13.5:1. Official version comes with front(passenger, driver) and knee airbag while pi comes with only front as standard(curtain and side are options in Japan that is about ¥40,000 to ¥54,000 shown in Toyota Japan’s website that no pi brings in)
