Possible to import >3 year old used car?

Hi Brothers, I was looking through Sgcarmart and saw a 1977 Toyota Celica being imported and sold as "inport used". Here is the link: http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=490779&DL=2820

So does that mean we can also import a used AE86 in pristine condition from Japan ?

Any brothers tried importing their own cars which is more than 3 years old ?

It might have been imported long ago and COE renewed until now. FYI if you look closely you can see that it has a Classic plate, yet dealer didn't mention in the ad...

My wish was imported 10 years ago from Japan ................... Parallel imported. So now, it is considered a 10 year old imported car ?

You can import car of all ages just make sure you pay the COE, taxes and etc.

More than 35 years old can also import - with a few conditions attached

 

If 1977 it is now 38...so can import

Strange. All who wanted to import old cars, 90% all want to import AE86. I wanted to import a 1991 car from Japan, seems like I need to wait another 10 years for it to reach 35.
