[laugh] [laugh] Expensive at Amazon... I was also amazed when i found it cheap at Taobao.

Anyway, this EX6200 is good. Dual channel and my master bedroom TV can stream full HD movies from my NAS without problems.

ha ha ha, i low tech, IT idiot.

Simple set up that can meet my needs of getting my connection strength / speed back after moving my router to another position is good enough for me.

No picture here nevermind, at least the bros here were kind enough to throw some model and brand name, can google to check.

just want to do a quick check I'm current using two Asus routers, AC88U and AC66U. One is in living and one in the room connected to the main router in living. Is there a way for my devices to auto connect to the strongest network?

Lets say at living room it will auto connect to the living room wifi, when i walk to the room it will auto connect to the room wifi instead.

Nope, in short. your device will only switch over once it cannot transmit or receive any data from the AC88.

It will only if the device lose signal from your AC88. even if AC88 has 1-2 bars, it will still try using the AC88.

It's usually the device limitation.

happens with my S9+ all the time.

I just switch manually if i'm halfway surfing or watching youtube when i'm in the MBR toilet hahaha.

But in my MBR or coming out to my living room proper, usually they will switch after 1-2 mins. Sometimes it don't esp when they detect signal still from the other side router.

ok thanks, actually the room still can get the living wifi about 1 bar, damn slow. so far never auto switch. Understand that Asus newer router got the latest mesh thing might auto switch but my AC66U don't come with mesh, too bad.
