TP-link products are good, been using them for many years. Easy to set up and use.

From mobile WIFI to router to Wifi extender…

Tp link is more wallet friendly also.

My latest wifi 6 router is also TP Link. Also have a TP-Link extender.

Quite please with the performance so far. Didn't have to reboot.

I had to do it a few times for DLink, don't like that brand.

I have a few TP-link Tapo WiFi cams. Easy to use and cheap.

Not all Asus products are good. Mine is partly a lemon. Need to reboot the router every 3-6 weeks.

Asus should have a schedule reboot function. You can for example like schedule it to reboot at 3-4am daily.

If you are using the app it is under "system settings" > "schedule reboot". You can select it to reboot weekly too.

Also try buying a router usb fan online to keep it cooled.

Haha yes, I forgot about the Tapo cams. I got 5 at home, working well and easy to set up.

Actually Asus router is the only router with Cybersecurity Labelling Scheme (CLS) Level 4. Not saying that it has no vulnerabilities, but it’s hardware has been certified to compliance by Cyber Security Agency (CSA)

I re-contracted recently, change to mesh router.

But internet still drops like at least once or twice a day.

Very frustrating if having video calls.

Thats bit weird.

Mine hangs every few weeks or so. The wifi symbol is there. but there is no internet connection. Usually under light usage conditions.

Have to access the router to reboot itself, then the nodes etc will start to work.

My deco never off before since I moved in. It's an old model but never drop signal before. 1 of the nodes conked out though. The other 2 still going strong.
