It appears that these two cams v7 and v9 always problem eh, no?

I would say their QC is very very lousy. No standard.

Once you get it fix, it will be alright and work great.

i am currently on v7 iroad. This is merely sharing my experience with v7. At first, I have bunch of craps from V7, such as shut down frequently, annoying instruction, beeping noise, and power cut off after 2 hours in parking mode...da** frustrating.

But everything started to become better, after i learn from the manual and setting it right. I changed 16gb memory to 64 gb, format every 3 weeks, setting wake up voltage to 12.7v and sleep voltage at 12v. I also do cable check occasionally, especially the cable links to rear cam. Now everything in order!!!

This is a very stressful car cam!

However when I make a change in the settings, the V9 takes approximately 12mins for it to start recording again. Also now when I off the engine, it takes the V9 almost 30s to voice out that it's now going to parking mode. Is that normal?

No that's not normal, I changed 2 sets of v9, each set had its own problem, wifi, or couldn't record long, took a long time to reboot, or when I'm driving it says I'm in parking mode.

You need to get your set change. It's an overpriced dashcam with bad software, support, corvit is also unprofessional, just visit their office and you'll know it's like a small mom & pop shop. Nonetheless your camera needs to be changed its defective.

Yes I agree poor QC, I had 2 defective sets

Now my only concern is the V9 do not go immediately to parking mode once I off the engine. It usually goes into that mode after I get off the ride.

You really need to make a trip down to Corvit at 24 Sin Ming Lane #01-95, Midview City, S573970. Change the set and free yourself from this defective one because their QC is very bad, I had to change a few set till I got it fix. V9 is not cheap.

From car engine off to parking mode is within or less 10 seconds.

Seems like there's a lot of problems for the V9 unit that is selling in Singapore. I'm using V9 bought from Korea directly since last december. Is there any difference? Did Singapore corvit did some changes to the V9 to lock down the local set to the app thing? I'm lucky my wifi app still works though mine is not a local set.

Yes, did a few times. No luck. I wrote to corvit. They told me must get dunno what MLC type card... Anyway since I got a spare SanDisk 32gb, I just try and it works!

Probably your spare SanDisk 32gb is rated as HC spects and the new evo micro SD card is running at UHC spects. Those older decide may not be able to support UHC spects micro SD card as the the point of manufacture the highest is only HC class 10. Newer device will be able to support UHC micro SD card.

Dont ask me why but that's what I know. Maybe faster speed micro SD card under UHC spects run abit different compared to HC spects. So older device only designed for HC spects will not be able to run UHC one. Whereas for newer device the software already tweak to support both HC and UHC spects.

I counted and it's like 7-8s to go into parking mode after I off my engine.

Yeah bro. I checked with my friend who is also using the V9 in his IS250. His also takes 7-8s for the V9 to go into parking mode.

7 to 8 secs is normal.

Sorry if this has been mentioned but was wondering if you happen to record an accident while driving, what can you do? Or recorded a traffic law violation or unsafe driving, can you send the clip to police?
