The 32GB card is either a Sandisk or Kingston.

The shop I bought and install the IROAD told me as long as its original sd card it is fine. He even offer to help me reformat my old sd card so that I can use on the V9 cam.

I think all sales person will try to sell their products. It depends if you want to take the risk. To me, I feel unjust if I have to pay $80 for a 64GB, which is why I took the risk. In the event the 3rd party card cannot be used, then I will buy the iRoad card. I can still recycle the 3rd party card for other phones/ tablets.

I used the Samsung Evo (orange) card but it didn't work. Using sandisk ultra (red/grey) now and has no problem. my friend is using the white/grey sandisk ultra on his V7, also without problem. Dunno why Korean cam reject Korean card... :(

Ever format to try again?

I'm using Kingston Class 10 64GB on my iRoad V9, it works perfectly, in fact the iRoad class 10 16GB that came with it, gave me more problem. Edited by RobynMuller

However when I make a change in the settings, the V9 takes approximately 12mins for it to start recording again. Also now when I off the engine, it takes the V9 almost 30s to voice out that it's now going to parking mode. Is that normal?

12mins for recording is not normal except for the first insert where the cam formats the card. That was LOOOONG...

After that, changes to setting is a simple restart and it takes no longer than 1 or 2 mins....

Parking mode 15-30 sec sounds normal to me. I think it depends when the cam realises that power has been cut. I'm no electrical engineer but maybe there is some power left when you off the car??

In my experience on a dual-channel V9, those delays are unusual. Parking mode is instantaneous for me upon stopping my engine.

i am currently on v7 iroad. This is merely sharing my experience with v7. At first, I have bunch of craps from V7, such as shut down frequently, annoying instruction, beeping noise, and power cut off after 2 hours in parking mode...da** frustrating.

But everything started to become better, after i learn from the manual and setting it right. I changed 16gb memory to 64 gb, format every 3 weeks, setting wake up voltage to 12.7v and sleep voltage at 12v. I also do cable check occasionally, especially the cable links to rear cam. Now everything in order!!!

This is normal as the cam needs to reboot.

I still stick to my 16GB and didn't bother to do anything. So far running fine.
