Anyone encountering memory card issue with v9. Sometimes ok sometimes not working saying card damage.

I did, each time the memory card is re-inserted back she says "memory card is damage, pls insert a new memory card"

From the description, T10 seems great: http://corvit.sg/wordpress/?page_id=5171

However, so far no feedback on this product. Probably the risk is whether is it proven to be reliable, is a question.

To me, what it does great over V9 is:

1) It comes with LCD screen

2) Angle of view is 155. T9 is 142.

3) Minimize heat by the low temperature design

Just went to the website, another new model, A9: http://corvit.sg/wordpress/?page_id=5517

1) 60 frames!

2) Angle is 142

3) No LCD screen

V9 is 142 angle too.

Also with a screen, problem is.. if someone enters your car to boycott u, they can wipe out all e videos

I have been using V9 since last December. Recently during March my new battery got drained overnight but I couldn't find the fault. It happened 2more times after that. I have replace a temporary battery with the battery workshop to monitor it. Yesterday night it seems that the car battery voltage is quite low as it crank longer to start the car. I saw through the forum it might be connector fault or perhaps the fuse cable fault?

Same problem for me.

hi, i am looking to replace my car cam with Iroad T10.

As AA member, i can buy it at $430. But i will need a workshop that can install it. Any recommendation?

I'm a iroad user, I'll advise against it, it's best to get blackvue

Just changed to a replacement iRoad V9 here's the new problem, the set automatically shut down, no lights at all, thereafter wifi kept booting out, and app crashed too. Oh boy for the price of this thing, it really should be trouble free.

I used Sandisk 64GB memory card and so far there isn't any issue (7months+ usage) I didn't use their iroad memory card cause I believe almost all memory card is the same. What makes their memory card more long lasting than the rest of the brands? Somemore there is lifetime warranty for almost all brands of memory card now so if it's spoilt you can just change a new one or buy a new one. It's not that expensive afterall.

Are you using the Ultra or Ultra Plus?

How many V9 users remove the wifi dongle? I did it as it seems to generate a lot of heat.

Why do you need so many? I don't think there is a limit so long your battery can support.

Considering doing it. Will try over weekend and see.

I parked under hot sun for 8 hours a day, no problem and still working fine. Been using V9 since last year, 2015 (FYI).

Apart from the cabling issue which I faced previously and feedback in this forum, no other issue so far.

I didn't take out anything. Wi FI dongle, memory card all inside. Dash Cam supposed to work in such condition else it will be a useless dash cam.

Precisely. I don't have such issue with my previous blackvue. Will update again.

I think if there's issue, better go and change. For my cabling issues, FYI, I went back about 3 times! I was very frustrated then. V9 QC is lousy, to be honest after what I encountered.

After problem solved, now I am happy. But that doesn't mean I will buy iRoad in the future, as I would think by then, there are much better offerings in the market.

As many as you want to have since there will be sufficient power points to tap to.

Same here, my Iroad (not V9) under the hot sun every afternoon, still running fine after 2 years.

Removed the dongle on my previous car for about half a year. No issues. Put it back in when installing it in my current car. Also no issues. I'm no iRoad ambassador but I've never had an issue with my V9. Maybe I'm lucky. I'm far less demanding of my traffic cams compared to other stuff in the car. I just need it to record properly even when parked, never kill my car battery, and never die on me. Don't care what brand. Don't care what model. It must be rock solid. If it is, I'll keep it. The moment it dies on me out of warranty, I'll dump it and buy something else.

For me i usually do not switch off my iPhone's wifi so sometimes unable to whatsapp out due to the phone being connected to the dash cam. So removing t will be easier for me since i do not need to connect to my dash cam all the time.
