I think need to download to laptop for clearer views.

 

For my case, if using laptop, using their software the sound a lot of distortion or no sound...need to use other software than is much better.

Possible is due to heat, another possibility is due to memory card. You maybe surprised that once changed memory card the video quality back to normal.

 

For memory card need to get those with heat resistant. One of the brand will be Samsung Evo plus and Samsung pro plus micro sd card.

i agreed with you....im using the samsung evo plus no issues on quality...

the difference between the 2 is the rear camera....just go to the iroad website and find their authorized dealers/installers at your convenience

Saw that there was a message of an update on my apps but I could read further, that message disappeared and the apps turned to live view.

Anyone experienced v9 shit off to protect battery of the car even though you could have just parked like 10-15mins? Happened to me a few times.

I don't know about the V9S2, but how about checking for and doing the update via the PC viewer?

Hi, did you read the follow up?  It seems to me there are't any savings getting the V9 (BTW, it's V9s2 now) in JB?

Just to add on:  

 

If you are getting one for your new car, consider getting the agent to install it, if the price is right.  

 

I gotten my Q9 (with an iRoad 32GB sdcard) installed for $450 by the agent's sales rep. That's a decent price, BUT, one day I found out my new car's rear washer didn't work properly.  I suspect it was VW's assembly line robot who didn't connect the water piping correctly resulting in leakage.  So I took the car back to the agent, and they told me the piping was broken during the car cam installation, by my 3rd party installer, and I'll have to pay for the repair.  lol.  It was then I proudly told the service advisor that "your guys" installed it for me, not my own installer.  Needless to say, the washer was fixed under warranty coverage.

Thanks Bluemint. I read but it is for my Msia registered car. I want to find a reliable installer.

I wonder if I can buy the set in Sg and ask car agent to install so no issue if installer mess up anything.

same here. My V9 just died on me today. No power. No LED lights. No sound.
