IRoad In-Car Camera Recorder Users

I am using the iroad v9 camera and a 64gb memory card. However, I cant seem to get the 28hr recording from a 64gb card. Could only achieve maximum 2hrs recording. Any idea why or the recommended settings to set? TIA!

Autotrend at toa payoh bro. No la, at this price how to include any power safety device but I think iroad has some feature to prevent your battery from being flat.

I'm not familiar with iRoad cameras but I would presume that allows you to set how much % of the memory card is allocated to event recordings only.

I think Iroad V9 has a feature where you can set the voltage level to cut off the recording if the battery drops to the setting level.

Anyone know what is the actual bitrate ( write speed ) for the V9S2 and how good /bad is the recording especially in open air HDB carpark.

Just replaced SD card with Samsung Evo+ 64GB and it works better. Reteiving videos clips from iPhone seems faster too. Saved video also faster then the stock 16GB. Just take out the existing SD card and insert the new SD card to it and it just works like that! No formatting is require.

Do check if u have off the sound recording of the camera. It's in the setup menu with the battery voltage and all.

You're able to switch off the "Security LED" using the iRoad software with your computer.

 

This option is not available in the iRoad app in your phone.

When I actually replay the recorded session, the playback actually lags, kinda "slow motion" playback. I have checked the settings as 60fps for both event and normal. Anyone encounter that? Is it the settings has gone wrong?

You cannot connect your laptop to your iRoad V9 via Wi-Fi.

 

The iRoad V9 Wi-Fi connection is only meant for connecting your smart phone so that the iRoad app in your phone can access to it.

 

Switch off your V9, take out the MicroSD card, insert the MicroSD card into your laptop then launch the iRoad software.

 

Then you can access the settings.

If you replay the recorded file through the iRoad app in your smart phone via Wi-Fi connection, there is a chance the playback is not "smooth".

 

If the file is recorded under "motion/parking mode", the FPS will not be 60fps anymore. It will be recorded in lower fps, 10fps or 9fps.

 

Try watching the recorded file after you download into your computer.

Just wondering, for V7 / V9 owners, do you usually keep your wifi dongle on the camera most of the time or do you remove it? I found that the camera sometimes won't detect the USB wifi dongle when I plug it in unless I reboot the camera.
