Week one usage. Messed around with the settings. Seems ok. Just as recommended here to remove Wifi Dongle helps to reduce heat!

Remax 64gb card works just as well... no pricey brand required. How does using a high speed card helps?

Installer set voltages to lowest. I brought it up to 12.5v just to stay safe.

Sensitivity seems a tad high. Im on coils and it beeps over every fantastic road patch in SG... LOL..

Note: removing wifi will require a reboot to prevent the prompt for wifi not detected.

You can disable the beep in 'Settings'

I just bought a iRoad v7 2CH and have it installed by one of the authorised dealers. At night, the license plates of the oncoming cars captured by the front camera are blur; although I had no problem seeing the license plates myself. I have feedback to the dealer and sent him the video clip. Does anyone else have a similar experience? Or is this normal for the iRoad v7?

Followup on my use. So I have set the voltage cutoff at 12.3V. Did not drive since the day after National Day till today (Wednesday to Saturday). The recorder was off, and the car started at 12.2V. The last recorded video was Thursday night, which is a good 2 full days worth of parking videos.

I'll say this is a good buy. Video quality is good both front and back.

Yep, I turned them know to see how sensitive they actually are. Which is pretty much [laugh] .

Im still considering a back up battery to be used for parking, I do not like the fact that it drains the main battery quite abit.

Can someone tell me once your car batt drains due to camera, how long does it take to charge back to optimum?

Eg. Previously before install 12.7v, now its 12v (does this make sense?)

Anyone using Iroad T10? Its seems to have a GPS function but cant really utilise it. The manual also din say much about it.

V7, V9 and T10 all have GPS function.

Have to buy separate GPS module to connect. $35 from Corvit.

Where is this Corvit? And how does the GPS function works?

You phone can tag the location of photo or video taken using GPS. This is using the similar concept to tell you the location of accident apart from visual and sound recording.

What is the correct turn on volt and cut off volt for parking mode? Seems like its recording non stop which cause it to be warm

hi Kia7200

I set my voltage cut off at 12V. During park mode, the cam is always recording, however, it will only save those when it detect motion. some of the heat might be generated due to the wifi usb dongle (you might wanna remove it if not in use).
