Probably the working environment and culture back then made them to behave hostile and bad tempered.

Cannot, cannot! One of the complaint received by URA was that the woman in the mural is "like a prostitute". 

Even the artist is wondering how he can amend the mural to remove the ciggie and also address the above complaint.

Haiizzz....... next time can only have this kind of mural, with all the weird conditions imposed.

Long ago people smoke what is called "rokok daun" or leaf cigarette in malay language. It is tobacco taken from a tin and rolled in a type of dried leaf that is bought in bundle. Self-assembled cigarette  Unfiltered and very harsh on the lungs.
