Strange Mural at Holland Drive Food Center

I came across this mural at Holland Drive Market Food Center. It is meant to celebrate Hawker Centers in Singapore for SG50, which is a good idea. However, the mural just looks rather odd, in my humble opinion.

I completely agree with you.

 

It looks like they all got poked

 

in the head with a pair

 

of chop sticks and forks.

No choice, as they only use forks and chopsticks there.

Probably drawn and painted by kids with a simpler outlook on life...... feedback to the town council but give the kids a break.

If you look at 0:37 of the video, you can see a small plaque accompanying the mural.

 

The plaque says that the mural was painted by students from the SP Design School. I assume SP refers to Singapore Polytechnic.

Maybe some P1 kids painted it....
