Hi, may I know how’s the drive and reliability of the 2020 facelift A4 that you can share?

I may be naive, but don't you want to drive it for yourself to find out bro?

I thought the 2.0 TFSI engine is always 190bhp.

For this similar engine and price range  I will rather get the Skoda Superb & L & K.

there are 2 variant for the mild hybrid

150bhp/270Nm ... [thumbsdown]  ... a downgrade compare to previous 2.0 tfsi ... similar output to 1.5T at 150bhp/250Nm

190bhp/320Nm ... same as previous 2.0 tfsi

What's mild hybrid?

Motor-generator can only assist the ICE, adds about 10, 15hp. Car cannot move purely on electric motor alone. So the lithium ion battery is very small (and cheap I assume). Most Germans are going this direction at least.

Is it like an aux battery for start stop feature on some cars?

A lof of mild hybrid uses 48v battery to operate a starter/alternator motor.

In addition, the starter and alternator are 1 unit.

Depends on battery size, some of the car can switch off ICE EARLIER during slow down coasting.

In the earlier version of the start/stop system, it is a 12-volt system with a separate starter and alternator.

More powerful than that - it helps in propelling the car and recovers some energy in regen braking. Not just start the engine.

48v mild hybrid helps in ASS (auto start stop) for starting and moving the car before the combustion engine kicks in

mild hybrid car got the 48v plus 12v battery installed separately where the 12v still powering ICE and electronics

Does it have the crankless start that minimises the jerks during start stop like mercedes’s Isg ?

audi with PA aggressive discount is definitely VLM (value for money) compare to BMW 3-series and Merc C-class ...

that's also the reason when you check sgcarmart, audi resale price is lower compare to BMW and Merc

another reason is also lower "demand" for audi in used car market compare to BMW and Merc
