Back to your question, unfortunately, Yes. Basically have to maintain like any black vehicle, where water marks and dirt are easily seen. At night it will look black and in the day, as you mentioned, the blue hue will appear and looks absolutely amazing. I think right now your car looks very similar to mine, considering you did the same accessories and upsized rims (mine's 18") + dark exterior car color For my car, I wash once a week, in between I try to wipe a bit to maintain the shine. Mostly park indoors. With PPS installed after collection, exactly 1 year ago. Water marks started showing half year mark.. more obvious on Black color, cannot avoid one. seng_1001 1st Gear February 28, 2017 Share February 28, 2017 Wow bro, your NCD is 50% + 5 % right? Really cheap. My current drive only due in Nov this year, thinking to get the 1.4 around aug/sept, should be just nice right? More or less quite firm on this car, just guessing price should dip a little. Not sure if they can sell the 1.4TFSI in S-Line exterior specs. I remember during 2016 suntec motor show when the new A4 was first launched, they marketed the S-line spec 1.4 as the "Design" trim costing $10k more. When i queried the staff recently, they gave a pretty vague answer on that.

My SE said S-line trim is only available in the 2.0TFSI Quattro version, do correct me if my info is wrong. If I rmbr correctly, S-line trim overseas means S-line entire body kit, emblems at front side fenders, sculpted hugging sports seats with S-line logo + some others. High mileage user Also just hit 1 yr mark a few days ago. So far small niggles with the car: 1. Auto lock after 15km/h doesn't kick in properly (all doors closed properly) - every 10-20s it tries to lock again, continues that way, but when you reach highway speed, it stops trying. Only way to resolve this is to park and restart engine. 2. Loud radiator fan - Fan starts running when car door is opened but engine not turned on. Only way to resolve it is to turn off engine for awhile. SA said it could be due to high ambient temperature, causing the radiator fan to be so loud. Even with the car's superb noise reduction, you can still hear the loud fan slightly while driving. For both issues, they happen once or twice a month, SA said no solutions currently. Germany Audi knows of this, waiting for software update for both. Initially I thought the radiator fan is faulty, because my Scirocco had this, the big fan was down so the small fan spin harder, thus the louder noise.. but Audi SA said my car no error faults. Being honest with the problems here, just so existing / potential buyers know what to expect. Other than above, car is nice to drive, comfortable and quiet, looking forward to drive it every morning

Hmm, from what i recall i didnt get a very clear answer from the staff. I think she said after the basic model comes in, then they can fit the S-Line trims at the service centre. just exterior facade only ,no mention of sports seats. No tyre upgrade also. Might have to wait them to order the required parts i guess. Will cost around $6,500 before gst. I believe can get it done for half the price outside. What i actually have in mind is to have the 1.4 A delivered with the S-line trims already. If i consider 2.0 TFSI Quattro, they seem very firm on the selling price around $220k, hardly any discount. You can retrofit the cosmetic bits of the S-line kit locally.. like the front bumper, side skirts, rear diffuser. Add on a subtle boot lit spoiler. Buy the silver S-line emblem online cheap cheap, install yourself on the front side fenders. It will look like S-line package, for less than half of the cost you quoted. E.g My S-line side skirts was installed locally via a workshop specialising in VAG accessories, for around S$600+. Overseas, S-line trim includes sports suspension and the sculpted body hugging sports seats, both of which are almost impossible to retrofit.

Hi, are you sure about the $220k pricing on the 2.0? I have checked with 2 PA staff and they told me the nett price is ard $230k. If your SE can confirm the car at $220k, please send me his/her contact. Thanks.
seng_1001 1st Gear March 5, 2017 Share March 5, 2017 (edited) Thank you bro Audi2016 for your kind sharing. Hi bro Audi1980, this was only verbally mentioned to me during our discussion. The sales staff had only said that there is hardly any discount for 2.0 TFSI Quattro and price is around $220k. Guess they are more keen to push sales for the 1.4 model. Let me enquire more on this when i go down again, but first, i need to test drive c180 and bmw 318. Then i can really tell my merc friends i made a informed and impartial decision having gone through all of them. Oopps XE also should test drive right?haha. seng_1001 1st Gear March 5, 2017 Share March 5, 2017 Here is the list of the optional add ons for the A4, all need to be indent and fix up in Germany. List was given to me in Dec 2016. Very detailed and very transparent breakdown of prices hor. Just feel that for a premium brand all this should be basic features, rather than add ons ! By the time you add on the same features set as a C Class, is it truly cheaper? SRP for a C180 is 188888 but it will be less after overtrades. I can pm you my Merc rep, and you can talk in detail. I also know an Audi rep if you need. Get the real net price from both sources, with the specs in detail too, and compare, cheers

Never had the chance to look at the features listing (wife wasnt too keen on Benz then). Based on test drive in Jan 2017. C-Class C180 almost have it all minus sunroof and GPS (standard Audio 20) usual trick of CnC always bring full featured car before new model or facelift comes out (9-Gtronic model will arrive end of this year/early next year). My previous car bought in Dec 2011 W204 kompressor last batch is loaded with free Comand Online factory fitted with no extra cost if I chose W204 CGI 7-speed in 2011 I need to fork another 15k (no Comand Online) if I am not wrong. So it made decision easier, get the kompressor and when I sold the car last month I checked that my model is only 2-3k lesser than the first batch 2012 of C180 CGI 7 speed, definitely initial $15k diffrence can't be recouped back. A4 is bare bones, no memory seats no power tail gate no lane departure warining no auto braking no reverse camera 16" clown rim Freebies either reverse camera/3 times servicing, no solar film. I think with this kind of equipment level, it's no better than rental car's specs. Edited March 6, 2017 by Knighthunter ↡ Advertisement
