Think the weather plays a big part to the whole experience as well...

Would be perfect if we are in temperate & less humid environment. Then SBG will be even more memorable.

Was there just last week. I know there are tourist dropping by. But most will just visit the Orchid gdns. Suspect they will venture further into the gardens now that it's a world heritage site.

Orchid garden, that's the only thing you have to pay to go in. Never been in there before.

Most of the time playing frisbee in front of the amphitheatre.

The mrt is quite a distance away?

Must be some stupid schloar's ideas, and this will result in lesser crowd to appreciate our heritage site !

Why must everything be measureable in terms of $ ?!

Haiz

$ingapore?

this one istana woodneuk, just fruther in from SBG

but cannot go in one

i think i heard from the news that they might start to ticket entry (in the name of crowd control purpose) to SBG to preserve and protect it.. as they are expecting huge rise in visitors to the park..

hahaha then those guys who bot property nearby hoping to retire near a free park will have to pay everytime they enter? hhahahahajajajaj

Sell tickets, then build hotels, build casino ?

There should be restriction with regards to the developments within the UNESCO site. Outside SBG should be ok.

Dempsey area opposite is a very huge piece of land for possible development. Wonder what's slated to be there?

I have been to many gardens in many countries, I would rate ours as one of the better ones except for weather which we cannot help. most important of all, it is free
