crappy talk....just shows that dealers are panicky to lure customers

ask mediacorp to come here and get expert views

no choice, they have to say something like that to support the prices..who will want to catch a falling knife?

many mouths to feed....go take a look at those PI and AD showrooms..always overstaff... haha..

Ban all cars and motor! So no jam for my sbs

China catch up and overtake Singapore in all ways, even in cars consumption, only to find moving target. Singapore switch back to green policy and bans all forms of private transportation.

Everyone goes back to bicycle, tricycle and quadcycles! Hooray!

Got money then buy lor...

Bo money no buy...

Thot its very simple...

I like current COE and 50% dp... weed out those who zero downpayment buyers who pushed up the number of cars on the road... else we will see the same discussion for next 10 yrs

Pushed up COE prices lah, number of cars on the road is fixed.

100% cash sure to see 30k COE with the ample supply.

By any chance would the COE be hit back to $30,000? Buy new car the downpayment is 40% & maximum is 5 yr tenure loan.

Is there any scheme like like rent car where paying every month but end of 5 years the cars is your that kind of scheme?

But then there is no stopping people from taking a personal loan from bank for the 50% downpayment and another car loan for the remaining 50%. that is like double whammy.

There is no way to stop a person who wants to commit financial suicide.

there is no such scheme, it's only known as "hire purchase" which means you book the car, pay downpayment, then pay monthly. End of 5 years once loan is over, car is officially 100% yours.

Leasing schemes are monthly payments for a tenure of several years with little or no downpayment. It's similar to car rental; the catch is that the car is, legally, not under your ownership.

PIs at AML were also crowded. Suzuki, Chery, Hyundai showrooms at Ubi were quiet.
