Actually I think it's quite unfair to ask other leaders to go without salary

 

Trump has tonnes of money, of coz he can forego usd400k a year salary

@lala81 us presidents not very rich? Then I realise that this is Mcf where we pay for cars in cash in full and table wipers own rolexes

 

@pinobii if our ahem four years salary out of his 5 year term I think he still never lose out to us president salary for the entire 4 yr term

Wow....the US president-erect elect haven't sworn in yeah and people are looking forward to 2021...Which, coincidentally is around the time LHL is expected to step down...

 

Boring it seems we have here, nevertheless we maybe in for an interesting time in next 4 years.

But he has to buy another two more cos AF1 got three identical 747 of which one standby and another decoy ... :serious-business: .

 

When flying, 2 AF1 flying together so that not easy for enemy to shoot .. [sly]

In general most of them are not rich before taking public office. After all most of them were doing political/civil service jobs which has perks but not that much direct $.

 

Congressman, governor, senators etc. 

 

You are talking about the men being in the most powerful position in the world.

Power as in nuclear power. The men who could conceivably start a nuclear war.

 

No, i don't think a few million dollars to multi million assets is too much. Of course, people like Trump are outliers.

But that's cos corporate america has been so hugely profitable to the elite group at the top, there has really been few reasons for them to run.

 

I mean what could Trump want and couldn't do before and now. It's only one word, ego/power.

 

I suspect, after this election, the very rich may also try to run for president more often also.

They won't be like Michael Bloomberg who's content being mayor etc.

He has to make do with the older 747 without the water bed.

Still beat the American President and have double the dignity.

1 dollar for one who have the keys to nuclear weapons and 1 million for 1 who slap minister....who more satki?..
