Yup that's why I was skeptical that they would bid successfully at current levels

But I was proven wrong

😂

I think the current strategy of selling more and putting more attrage on the road is a form of advertisement too. I hardly see the car on the road and carpark.

The total basic cost of the mitsubishi attrage from LTA website is about $20 619. This includes the average OMV (12,055), GST and excise duty (3,424), Tiered ARF payable (12,055), Cevs rebates (-ve 7,055), reg fee (140)

Considering that some of us got the car at $84K with a $57.5K COE, I would say that C & C is very aggressive with the pricing, compared to some other AD .

That means the costs to AD including COE is about $78K, selling it at $84K they only makes about $6K - before paying SE commissions and provisions for rentals, warranty, servicing costs etc. It's really tight margins... wonder if they makes from somewhere else...

Yeah, the attrage actually has a higher omv than the accent, lancer, swift, but because of the CEV rebates, it is cheaper

1) low rpm low speed, slight stutter to the car. Dun know if it is CVT characteristic or fault?

2) Middle brake light not working.

3) Driver seat belt warning not working...Dun know if should report this.

Overall driving is quite pleasant, fc on highway can reach 20km/l. Normal City best i got was 15-16km/l. Havent gone up north south highway yet...But i will do that after my 1k service.

1) sounds like CVT characteristic... rubber-band effect, they call it?

2) the high mounted stoplight in the car? Better raise this with them, it is potentially dangerous if it is not working

3) Usually driver's seatbelt has a warning... but if this car is so cheapo it doesn't have one for the driver but has for passenger, it's a bit [hur]

imo, raise it during your next servicing or when you ask about the stoplight. Let us know what their response is [grouphug]

U r right.

I still have the pricing of those cars back in 2008/2009.

Congrate on ur attrage.

I'm leaning on Nissan note. Any comments?

Would like ur opinion as an attrage owner

Nissan note 1.2 dig-s would be very nice. The supercharger makes up for the low cc. I've seen the car in the flesh and its spacious. The boot space even without folding is very decent. Currently I think the price is $96.8k. Decent specs too. ABS, EDB and traction control.

Only thing I dun like are the rear drums. The oversea ones were all 4 disc and seems to pack with more goodies. Too bad not enough $$ to full cash. Will look at it again early next year as my coe is dying in june

Since there is a 3 week interval to the next bid, I expect coe prices to go up.attrage prices will also up.therefore I think you bought at a good price as of now

think these options were not available when i booked during national day weekend.. personally i would not prefer built in GPS cos updating maps from AD is usually not free. Touch screen is also something which i am doubtful if can last 10yrs..

The discounted price need to take loan & insurance from them, so they earn some commission from those also lor.. But the freebies they throw in also worth $1k or so.. doubt they can squeeze much more $ out of the old car i'm trading in.. [cool]

Attrage pricing really aggressive. It's a good buy.

But my Oc is super against. So I have a problem.

Oc kept telling me to get a basic note. No supercharged.

This car is really just a basic car for my family that's all. The other car is the odyssey which will serve all other purpose

Why not jazz? Jazz is much more expensive. Too musculine for my Oc is she wants to drive occasionally. She likes cutie cars.

For me. Its just another car

Jazz going for 100k/105k whist Note is 93k/97k if not mistaken. Not that much diff but maybe Note specs higher? To each his own I suppose n can't really go wrong with either as both spacious for a small car.

Sorry for the OT here. I've not seen the Attrage in the flesh but at 85k, think u can't ask for more so congrats to those buyers who bought it n secured the COE!! Pls keep the feedback coming!!

Test drove the car on Sunday. Nothing to shout at except still pretty impressed with the interior space. My wife said the car feels like it is "flying" which I do not think so. Asked if i can install Headunit outside but told no as wiring work can void warranty. AD can upgrade at 1500 more with reverse camera and navigation.

Important question as what one forumer said need not to overtrade. SE told me where to find such deal? She is not aware... If needs overtrade to qualify for additional 5k off, then the car is not cheap anymore. It will cost around 91k.

Since Oc likes cutie cars then Note will be more suitable lor.. Do a test drive see if the light steering mentioned by the others is ok for u..
