Alant 1st Gear June 29, 2015 Share June 29, 2015 (edited) I just scrapped the car myself... bring car to LTA approved scrap yard at Benoi...Submit LTA form D01, LTA Vehicle PIN will do. They will deregistered the car on the spot. Scrap yard pay $100 cash for the car body value. Very Simple. For Kim Hock Corp 1) Below 1.0L $50 2) 1.0L to 2.0L $100 3) Above 2.0L $150 This is based on a printed notice stuck on the glass window of the office counter and was correct about 2 weeks ago. Not sure how often the price changes....

winnekoh Neutral Newbie July 16, 2015 Share July 16, 2015 Hi Guys, My Integra is gonna due for scrap. Any ideas how much can the body fetch if i send it to those export dealers? Maybe we can consolidate a list for easy reference on various model? Thanks I scrapped my Toyota Altis for S$1,100 recently. Very good deal because is my brother's friend. I search on internet and called some companies. Was told by a few dealer that $900 is already very good and they only if you car is in good condition and low mileage which is the category my car falls in. Remember to take out your mirror, cash card, cash car protector before passing the car for scrapping. I feel very sad scrapping my car because it really make no sense to me. My car was still new and in good condition after 10 years. No choice because this is Singapore.

Vinceng Turbocharged July 17, 2015 Share July 17, 2015 (edited) After reading this thread on the pathetic body value, do you still spend $500 for that sealant package which claims to protect your shiny paintwork - so shiny that you can see your eye balls reflection. No matter how shiny or well maintained, your car still gets crushed by that compactor once it reaches its tenth birthday. Cars are meant to be our slaves. We should not be slaves to our cars. I guess because cars are the second most expensive item we will spent here.
