SSDD2018 1st Gear November 6, 2016 Share November 6, 2016 What car have u ordered? GLCHaha Bro I was at C&C on Friday test drive the GLC , they now said if I commit the order they deliver by March. Only thing is standard unit with limited Color choice. But the trade in value they quote for my F10 sucks. The drive and handling is slightly better than RX turbo but below F Pace but good enough for every day drive. So I am still thinking. Now Q5 is around the corner. Should I wait n see. I only sit for few secs not Long enough to notice. It does look thin n cave in to create the space. The same engine power E class is barely doing the job for bigger body. I specced it with pano roof to entertain my kid and AMG line to tighten the handling further. Wait for the Q5 for comparison if you not in hurry.

Hubwee Supercharged November 24, 2016 Share November 24, 2016 (edited) Are you guys talking about the GLA instead of the GLC ??? I am almost 1.8 m and one of my trader drives a GLC . Have taken rides in the GLC backseat for umpteen times and I dun find it cramped like what you guys are saying .. The back rest can be pushed back to make it more slanted and I dun find it cramp at all ... Maybe you guys are used to big cars like 7 series , S Class or Bentley ba if you find the GLC cramped . It is sure much better than those Mid level executive saloon or those crossover Edited November 24, 2016 by Hubwee

Wt_know Supersonic November 25, 2016 Share November 25, 2016 (edited) i believe GLC and GLC Coupe the seat dimension is the same similar to C-class W205 ... both rear seat is 49.1cm ... a little tight with limited "thigh support" Edited November 25, 2016 by Wt_know

Vratenza Supersonic November 29, 2016 Share November 29, 2016 i believe GLC and GLC Coupe the seat dimension is the same similar to C-class W205 ... both rear seat is 49.1cm ... a little tight with limited "thigh support" Based on video reviews from same person testing both GLC SUV and COUPE, the limited thigh support and generou knee rooms are similar. On the other hand the headroom for SUV is class leading while coupe is understandably limited due to it's sloping roof line towards the rear. Simple physics really. That is also why for coupe, their sunroof otion is not full panoroof (a half roof sunroof for front section only) as it will eat into the rear head room further. Having sat in all of the new mercs recently, C class, regular GLC, GLC Coupe and E class I think this is the new way merc makes their rear seat. Shorter "thigh" length, thus creating a visually more spacious feel. but if one is used to a full size rear bench config, etc F10 or S60, sure will feel short changed. But then again I think its still reasonable for Asian males 1.7m-1.8m bcos we don't sit super upright anyways and will naturally slouch..that being said, I do feel the E class and regular GLC feels almost identical in terms of sitting space and sitting angle. The GLC Coupe, same leg room but feels a tad more upright, just a tiny bit 5 degree maybe, but still pretty comfy tbh.
