that is true to a certain, but we still need a base line / rough estimate for comparison

everyone should know that is just a "RRP" ...

when are you walk into the showroom and show that you are "serious", there will be another "price"

also are still many other factors to consider

aka Roadshow Special, Overtrade, Event, Management / Review cars, Freak COE prices (Black Swan)

cheers

Different pricing & sales strategy used by different AD..

Some dealer post almost near NETT prices online to be as transparent as possible. Some try to have higher list price then give big discount to increase the feel good factor.. like $15-20K off the list price.

Hi All, I just placed a deposit for the GLC250 2.0A with a PI (Leco Prestige) on 4 Jun 16. However due to unforeseen circumstances, I am unable to proceed with the purchase but they do not allow me to take back the full deposit. I am willing to lose a bit of the deposit to transfer the name if you are keen to takeover. The vehicle details as follows;

Color; Light grey

Please contact me should you be interested. My Hp is: 85908028

Hi bros,

Apart from the obvious difference in vehicle type (suv vs sedan), are there any differences between GLC250 and C180/C200? Both models have the same interior, engine might be slightly underpowered compared to the 250, but the price difference quite a lot.

off hand, there are THREE major difference I can think off,

1) C KLASS made in SOUTH AFRICA vs GLC (GERMANY) - (if you buy directly from C&C)

2) C Klass 180/200 REAR WHEEL DRIVE vs GLC 250 4matic

3) C Klass 7G-Tronic Plus (A) Drive vs GLC 9G-Tronic (A)

other small things

rims size, C Klass smaller than GLC (sedan vs SUV)

fuel efficiency , GLC being SUV much more heavy, so FC is worse off than normal C Klass - even if u compare same engine size....

if I miss out anything, please feel free to add / comment

these 2 differences are significant in term of value and performance

2) C Klass 180/200 REAR WHEEL DRIVE vs GLC 250 4matic

3) C Klass 7G-Tronic Plus (A) Drive vs GLC 9G-Tronic (A)

Just like why a 3 bedder condo in the same estate is more expensive than a 5 room flat. Different class (pun intended).

Anyway, more material used and more complex construction / setup for the GLC, if you want to hear something more sensible. Huge price gap is also partially because of the high vehicle taxes we are paying here.
