flashbang Turbocharged June 12, 2015 Share June 12, 2015 My previous job was turbo machinery engineer. The engine oil we use the turbine and compressor are from Helix, Castrol in drum. The engine oil specification is actual suitable for car. Many maintenance staffs took the oil for their car. Some of them even take the additive oil meant for machinery for their car. In short, I believe there is no issue at all. Probably, you need to change oil within 5000KM mileage. In real world, dirty oil does not means the oil is bad. If you've knowledge of viscosity of oil did not deteriorate, the mileage can be more than what the car manual claimed. Staff benefits! ↡ Advertisement
