Mazdas are journalist darlings nowadays leh. At most they criticize only the noise level.

Just to share a similar experience I had with my Mazda 3 in down under last year which did not have stock of the tyre. In the end i talked to them to indent a brand new tyre in and in order not to wait, to take one of their existing tyre off the new car that has not been sold and when the indent tyre come in they can replaced it with their new car. Not too sure if Mazda Sg does that, cause it will be a win-win situation for all. Talk to the service staff/manager to see if they can help since it is so close to CNY.

I have temp repair with external patch with a 50% chance may leak if wear. Intend to patch the tyre internally with other shop next week.

 

I also intend to let go off this 5 months car. Found Mazda car parts expensive and difficult to get. Very inconvenient. Also the car is very noisy during cold start in the morning at 5am. Disturb and wake up my neighbor. Car is impressive but not friendly for maintenance and daily usage.

 

Servicing can only go back to agent due to using special 0w-20 patrol for sky activ..

 

Considering Honda vezel. Price almost same as Mazda 2. More powerful, lots of space and fuel economy than Mazda 2. 20km/L for mileage compare to Mazda 2 16km/L

Not sure if he's abit biased though like some have said. The Kadjar he didn't hv good comments for the drive which I thought was not very fair.

I'm not sure if vezel is more powerful. Suggest you read up on that lol.

 

1.5L for such a fat car. If fc is excellent perhaps it's also too good to be true. But for the money you're paying, you do get a lot of 'car'.

The car is not fat. The engine is adequate for vezel. If you have not driven it,give it a try before judging

It is noisy because the RPM is revving, you can always put the car into drive and slowly drive out while the engine is warming up. The RPM will drop and reduce the noise.  In some of the major cities in the world, you are not allowed to do stationary warm up. My almost 10 yr car, I've been doing that and have no issue.

Don't expect much from the car distributors.

 

I believe yours are Toyo Proxes, very good tyres also use by Porches owners, but too skinny.

Take this opportunity to replace those skinny tyres.

I fit mine with commonly available 205/55/R16, no problem even when fully loaded with 5 adults, very steady and stable !

Just checking, your wheels 5.5J x 16 ? Can fit 205?

For me I feel the Mazda 2 deluxe offers more functions then the vezel.

If only mz2 was a lil more spacious like its brethren. I will choose vezel, though not a fair comparison, due to better space n resale value, although mz2 pickup better n more fun to drive. So mz2 drivetrain w vezel or xv body wif mz lighting package I think will appeal to me but will b more pricey.
