Actually both style look appealing to me, just that I always like sedan style more. The new M2 sedan looks much proportional than previous bulky-body-on-small-wheels look.

Space wise I find both are the same, and though not class leading but not too cramp for someone around 1.7m tall. With reference to the specification sheet I have uploaded, the sedan interior is little more spacious except for the rear headroom. Kind of strange to me especially for the slightly more legroom in space in the sedan because both body style shares the same wheelbase. Maybe that is why you felt the sedan has got more room at the back.

Wow from the posted specs, big 40%!! improvements in rear legroom in Mz2 sedan from HB...

Almost on par with Mz3 already...

In fact also, Mz2 sedan specs has slightly higher headrooms than Mz3, probably due to no sunroof..?

Anyone interested in arm-rest for Mazda 2 ?

I am seeking adequate expression of interest before I start selling it.

Mazda doesnt make it, its an aftermarket part. It goes over the cip holder at the left of the driver. About SGD80.

I reckoned I didn't step on brakes hard enough at red lights that's why istop didn't kick in, but the FC is already impressive which surprised me even more.

However during reversing to park, if Istop kicked in, sometimes even when I released the brake totally, the engine didn't restart, for that 1-2 sec the car totally stop. End up I had to tap on accelerator to restart engine. Must ask the mechanics to check this then.

Yes, the FC is very impressive.. getting 15-16km/L on 60% city driving..

easily will achieve 20  in majority highways..

this is the most happiest part for me as i dont have company paid fuel. lol

what colour is yours?

Dynamic blue, same as my old M2. Realized it's not a common colour choice, maybe it doesn't look as matured as reflex blue.

My old M2 only fetched 14km/l on 85% highway. Seems like new technology does make a big diff.

No la I'm also very noob guy. Just learn abit from my Friend who is more pro petrol head.

But our car does have 4-2-1 header stock.

All being said the mz2 really is a good car for urban driving overall.

A very funny thin happened last weekend. Was at the traffic lights in Jurong where is a Long stretch before traffic light. This Tiong rx8 beside me. My itchy butt just throttle down to enjoy the pull since don't have open road on most days.

My girl n Wife beside me. She told me the rx 8 guy keep staring at me, trying to see who is driving. Lmao

Guess some guys can't accept a little car running away.

I wasn't bothered la. But the pickup is definitely feels less than 9s if no aircon off n u floor it. With sport mode on I dunno how fast liao

Wow i thought ours will be a 4-1 header.

Yeah some bigger cc car owners always think they can eat up small cute HB rides anytime.

Just at the showroom and notice that the Mz2 Sedan has a new features that existing doesn't have - there is a "Boot Release" button inside the car, below the steering wheel!

Isn't that a standard for sedan rides?

RX8 is quite useless for stop/start traffic. It requires high revving to move off.

Not true. I used to own a RX7, now Mazda 2. Only 'special' people own RX and M2 owners are also 'special' because they choose M2 when they can buy M3.

That RX8 person was looking at you is because he is planning to buy M2 when his fun and troublesome RX8 COE expires. All RX8s COE expiring soon.

No, existing sedan models only has the release button at the boot itseif - no boot release button inside the cabin.

(Although for deluxe Mz3, you can use the remote button on the key fob itself that open the boot from inside the cabin.)

Ooooh noted. Drive HB for too long liao. I remember last time see sedan car owners open their boot then exit car.

Hey good day to all of you Mazda 2 lovers.

I have just found this forum so I'm new to this site and I am from Sri Lanka.

Guys i'm planing to buy this new Mazda 2 (Sedan) I really like this car and i have read and watched so many reviews on the internet. Most of them are about Hatchback. Now my question is does the sedan come with LED Projector headlamps? if not is it possible to replace those halogen headlights with LED headlamps ? Do you guys know an online store or something like that where i could order them ? How much will those LED Headlamps cost me ? any idea about this guys?   [:)]

one more thing what do you guys think about Manual air conditioning vs Automatic air conditioning which one is the best? any feedback about that from our mazda 2 users ? because as far as i know Mazda agent here in Sri lanka bring down those with manual air conditioning which i don't like to be honest.

Hope to get a reply from you guys, Have a nice day! :)
